I work hard so I'm happy to share relaxing times with those I care about. Staying home watching a movie is great, but so is loading up the Jeep, dog and snacks and heading to the mountains for the day, or weekend. I'm just as happy at the beach as I am the in the mountains. As a "Parrothead" from way back I'm actually happiest listening to Jimmy's tunes while chilling on the deck or I've been known to get a wild hair and head to Vegas for yet another one of his concerts. I love watching most sports, especially hockey and professional football and am a die-hard Broncos fan. I'm somewhat of a risk taker, professionally and personally. I've learned that if you don't put yourself out there and ask for what you want in life you won't get it. There's always a chance that you might get hurt in one way or another, but I believe that it's better to know then to speculate and never know what could have been. Being a risk taker has always worked out for me professionally but not always as great on a personal level. I'm not giving up on that. There are too many fabulous things in life that can be shared with that someone special, wherever they live, to not make the effort.

Jack is a 2 year old Golden Retriever who loves to socialize and is totally food motivated. He's a puppy in an 90 lb. body (we're trying to reduce that)and thinks he's a lap dog. He's a maniac in the water and snow, loves the outdoors and carries a ball around 24/7, but he appreciates the comforts of a warm spot to flake out, usually the couch or bed if he can get away with it. He's always up for a trip anywhere and is a perfect traveling companion, even on long trips...he even rode along for a week long road trip to the coast of Georgia last summer.

There can be so many "perfect dates". It's hard to put your finger on just one. Anything dog related is always fun but so is wearing out the dogs during the day so that they crash just about the time you and someone special open a bottle of wine. I like to cook, especially gourmet so I'd be happy to find someone who appreciates fine (and interesting) food, like Asian and Cuban. After dinner, it doesn't get any better than finishing that bottle of wine in front of the fire or out watching the sunset. Of course, if you'd rather, I'm up for a cozy couch and martini at any jazz club. I love to travel and always up for a trip to the islands or wine country, or a last minute coastal weekend road trip in a convertible. (No coasts in Colorado, but that wouldn't stop me from finding one.) I'm easily convinced to just hop on a plane and go somewhere. Someday I'd love to spend time in Italy and go for a trip on the Orient Express. I'm a romantic at heart and haven't given up on finding that right person to share my love of travel and dogs. Active dates are fun too. I love to snorkel and ski, again, the beach or the mountains, you choose. Anytime you're with the right person though, finding something to do on that "perfect" date shouldn't be a problem.

Tiger

Tiger was our 8 year old silver tabby cat who we just lost to Feline Leukemia. We will miss him terribly...he was the best. Please, please get your cats tested and vaccintated...even if you don't think you need to. We learned the hard way. God Bless, Tiger.
