Im a fun, caring, compassionate & independent woman. I have raised 2 children who are now grown. My 25 yr old son is a great roommate and my 23 yr old daughter is in the Army. I have a house in a close to nature setting which I adore! Mountains, lakes, forests, eagles, deer and lots of wildlife all around, which is just where my heart belongs. I have a great sense of humor including the ability to laugh at myself. I have been divorced for some 20 yrs now and am not lonely but looking for relationships with others who love nature/animals and have like interests. I am physically inclined, love to garden, love the water and have diverse interests. I'm always trying to learn more about myself, humanity or the world. I have done alot of personal and spiritual growth work and am always evolving. Recently I volunteered to work with Summit Service Dogs. Seemed like a great way to give back, help find dogs good homes, help people live fulfilling lives and meet people like myself. Really I love my life but at this stage I am seeking to add value, meaning, joy and fulfillment. Enhancing my life with people, animals, laughter, etc. is my goal. I don't pretend to be someone I'm not and I'm looking for honest relationship where others don't have to pretend to be something they aren't. Just be real, honest, joyful and loving as much as possible. Oh and I love a great story teller, I have a few stories to tell myself. Also am a massage therapist and interested in holistic health and healing. My favorite movie is "when harry met sally".

The king of my house is Sunny a 20lb orange tabby from PAWS. He was the first member of my animal family. He's the kind of cat that turns non cat-lovers around! He can open about any cupboard or drawer, smart as a whip and purrs like a Harley! Then came Athena (Tina, petite gray tabby)warrior goddess, huntress extrodinaire (much to my dismay). Next came Stanley schnauzer man, just turned 5yrs old, he's silver and black like a silverback, likes to pretend he's a big dog or my snuggle baby, totally momma's boy =). My sister asked me to take her cat Kali who shall we say has a few character flaws..... and last but not least Joey, goofy, smart, block-headed smallish black lab from the human society. He loves to swim & fetch (of course), would love to be my only child but loves his brother Stan anyway. Its a full house but we all live in harmony. They have all come from different places yet they all get along.

Our Mom is the best. We sleep with her and keep her safe. She takes us dogs to the lake where we take turns fetching sticks or balls with the other dogs. She gives us treats and loves to snuggle us and we make her laugh. If we are sick she takes good care of us and she never makes us sleep outside where its cold. She buys us toys and takes us places sometimes. Stanley gets his hair done which he doesn't like much but it sure feels good afterwards.

If I found a male companion or romance that would be great but lets just say friendship is most important. I have diverse interests and would like to meet others who are diverse. I am not a religious person but a spiritual person and it would be great to meet someone who was diverse in this area as well. I am a physical person and would like to meet someone that might share interests in this area as well, like hiking, exercising, water sports, maybe camping although Im not so much into roughing it anymore. But even email friends can be fulfilling. Communication is important to me and flexiblity. Definitly a good sense of humor is important and being able to laugh at yourself, how else do you get through some of the tough spots life deals ya? I'm not into pretenses, I like nice things but I'm not a real material girl.

My dogs like other dogs that like to chase, swim, fetch and run around. My cats like dogs that respect cats. We also like to just hang out and watch a good movie or sit by a fire and tell stories.

Bless your sweet schnauzer heart. Although our time was short it wasn't short on Love and I am grateful your final days and months were spent in a loving home. Thank you for showing me how special a schnauzer is.
