I'm a small town girl living near the big city. I'm mellow, not one of those high maintanence girls. I like to spend time with the people I love: family, close friends, lovers and of course my pets. I've worked for non-profits for ever and I spend part of my off time volunteering for other non-profits - mostly taking care of animals. I guess you could say I am a "do-gooder". I also like to watch movies, travel and spend time in the sun, etc, etc....

Pumpkin is a spoiled cat! I got her as a kitten when I was in college and she has ran the show ever sense. Very cool cat, no nastly habits, and loves to snuggle up at night. She has one wierd quality though...she LOVES to be spanked. Dirty girl, I call her. Buggie is my crazy cat. He is big and loves to run around the house like a monkey, jumping from ledge to cat tree to ledge..... I got him from the shelter after someone dumped him in the night kennel :( He is so gorgeous and sweet, I don't know how anyone could give him up. His favorite thing to do is to lay in the bathtub and be groomed. Jack, previously Stevie(as in Wonder) is my adorable dwarf rabbit. I fell in love with him at a shelter and after three months of seeing him on-line, I went back and adopted him. He is small, black/silver and almost completely blind. You would think it would make him more skittish, but he is actually very tolerant and sweet. Bunnies are a lot harder than you would think, but he is TOTALLY worth it! I also foster a bunny or two for a local rescue as well as the occasional kitten.

Calm, trustworthy and a little clingy. I like to interact with my animals, sometimes more than they might like. On the other hand, the cats think I spend way too much time with the rabbits and would rather I be at their beck-and-call.

I want a guy who knows what he wants and is straight forward about it. Someone who likes to spend time together and can make me laugh. This may sound silly, but a fishing partner would be great! Where I'm from people keeps their poles in their cars just in case the urge hits them, that's hard to find here. I love poker and pool, drinking a beer or glass of wine and cuddling on the couch with a movie. I am a HUGE animal person. It's not just a hobbie or something in my life. Animals are my career.
