Goose is a solid black cat born into a litter of 8 solid black cats. I knew that was some sign of the apocalypse and had to bring her home. She got out and got knocked up, the little minx and had her own litter of 8. I kept 3. 2 sisters, Salt and Kraut are still with me. They're my girls. I tend to name the animals that cross my path with either food or other animal names. The jackrabbit baby I tried to rescue was named Coyote. I still wish I had been able to do more for him or know how to help. I've lived with dogs off and on but currently don't have a dog on the premises. I miss having a dog around and would love a dog date.

She tells us all the time that next time she gets to be the cat, but she doesn't realize she couldn't hack it. We're not just napping and eating all day. Salt for instance, just finished her dissertation and I've been busy helping Hillary set up her 2008 campaign. She's a good human though, she tries hard and we've decided to let her stay with us.
