Physically I'm younger than my years, mentally I'm older. Strong willed, I occasionally allow my heart to rule my head, but anyone who knows me would tell you that I'm very logical, intelligent, and have a lot of common sense. I love nice material things but tend to be thrifty. Photography and writing are two things that keep me busy; my favorite workout is with free weights. I'm easy to talk to, and have the ability to put myself in someone else's situation in an attempt to understand their feelings. I can provide photos, but have elected not to post any because I'm basically a private person- even though I spend some time in the public eye. If that makes sense, we'll probably get along.

Tex and Mia are both oversized "toy" breeds that few people have ever heard of, Tito is a mini. They run the gamut from old and cranky to young and funny. Although I don't put clothing on them, they are basically my children.

Our mom is mostly really great-she cooks all our meals for us, and lets us sleep on the bed if we want to. But sometimes she trims our toenails, and that doesn't make us very happy. And sometimes she goes away and smells like other dogs (cats, too!) when she comes home. Usually she's fun and we're allowed to jump up on her for ear scratches. It's no fun when she wears dresses and stockings though...we get told "no jumping", and she means it.

Like most people, I appreciate a date who's nice to look at, but honestly, the more I like the person the better they look. A kind heart and strong mind are important, as are intelligence and "traditional" values. Be reliable but please don't try to smother me. Have your own interests so we learn from one another. I appreciate good banter and a dry sense of humor (not corny, please). Be physically fit if you want to keep up with me. A sharp dressed man is a wonderful thing, but please also be comfortable in jeans or sweats.

We would very much like a big, fat cat to chase. Tee Hee. Our canine friends should be altered so they don't have those mood swings going on. And not to be uppity, but we prefer friends who came from rescues or animal shelters. You see, we belong to a cult of very lucky dogs who once were either on death row-or in poor Mia's case-wished we would die soon. Mia was a prisoner of greed, so it's very sad for her to smell pet store dogs.
