I'm an ex-pat American now living in England with my human family, Border Collie (Monty), moggies (Pussyman, Tad, Waffles, and sometimes Splodge), and goldfish (Mr. Fishy and Chubbles). I'm hoping to make friends with like-minded animal people.

Monty: 4 year old male Border Collie. He wants to be involved in and help with everything. Possibly the sweetest dog ever, without a nasty bone in his body. Loves football(soccer) (in fact anything remotely ball-shaped), and sitting on peoples feet and getting fussed. Pussyman: 8-10 year old male moggy. He's his own cat--a cat of mystery. Loves killing small animals, catnip, seafood, washing his butt, licking ear wax (NOT mine!), and lots of lap cuddles. Waffles: 14 year old male moggy. A bit of a grumpy old man. He loves food, mainly. In fact, he may be the original food slut. Favorites are tuna and cocktail sausages. He also loves his refillable catnip mousie and soft blankets. He likes being fussed, but is prone to nip when overexcited or not stroked "just right". Tad: 11 year old male moggy. He's rather reserved, but very sweet when you get to know him. He loves licking plastic, snoozing on the bed, and commenting on various aspects of his daily life. He also likes being stroked on the head. Splodge: 9 year old male moggy. He's very outgoing and social, but sadly not terribly loyal. He originally came as a pair with Tad but after we returned from a family vacation last year we found that he'd dumped us for the old lady living behind us. He likes fish and being stroked and, apparently, little old ladies. Mr Fishy and Chubbles: 2 goldfish. I think Mr. Fishy is a male and Chubbles a female based on Mr. Fishy's courtship behaviour towards Chubbles when she joined our fishy family. However, after a few months on his own, it is possible that Mr. Fishy was so desperate for aquatic company that he'd have been willing to date anything with fins--who knows?

Monty: "My Mum is really nice, if a bit lazy. She needs to play ball more. MUCH more. An hour+ every day just isn't enough. And she needs to buy me some sheep and a farm and a sister. But aside from that, she's fantastic and I really love her." Pussyman: "Well, I saw this Yank moved in the neighborhood and thought to myself, 'She looks like a pushover', so I moved myself in and was proved right. I have her so well trained that I'm not budging for anything! Waffles: "Mum is great, but she needs to buy me more food. Like, a whole cow and some salmon--and that's just for starters!" Tad: "I think Mum is the only one who understands me. She always asks my opinion and knows that I'm not complaining when I'm talking to her--just commenting on the world. (She is a bit loopy, though. You should hear her sing when she thinks nobody is paying attention!)" Mr. Fishy and Chubbles: "You mean the big blobby thing that makes flakes appear?"

I'm looking for new friends. I figure if you like animals, then we've got the most important thing in common.

Well, the cats couldn't care less, so this would mostly be for Monty. He is easygoing andlikes pretty much anyone, so he's not terribly picky, though one who likes balls is a definite plus!
