I would like to meet people with similar interests as me. I am 38 year old female who tries to stay active and physically fit by riding my horse and walking/training my dogs. I am told I look young for my age, which I attribute to working with animals. I have always loved working with animals and went to Michigan State University initially enrolled as a pre-veterinary student, and later graduated there with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. The competition for acceptance into vet school was then and still is quite fierce. At first, I was disappointed but I now found I like training and rehabilitating animals to be much more rewarding. Currently, I work with computers [found I have a knack for this as well] to provide technical support to automotive engineers. Still, I continue to work with animals since I have such a strong connection with them. I work daily with my own pets and volunteer at a local Humane Society to provide dogs with in-shelter training so they may become more adoptable.

Currently, I have two dogs, a 7 year old smooth fox terrier (male) and a 1 year old rottweiller (female); they share a house with me and a nine year old Maine Coon Cat (female). All have been with me from a very early age and all are wonderful and they all get along so well. I also have a 12 year old thoroughbred gelding (never raced) that I've had since he was three. He's an absolutely wonderful animal, too. We train together in Dressage and Eventing.

Mom has a big heart. She always tries to do what's best for us and makes sure we are well cared for, even if this means sacrifices for her. She not only makes sure we are fed, housed, vaccinated, and loved, but that we are well trained and socialized to outside situations, people, children, and other animals. She does this not only to protect the public but also to protect us so we don't become a liability. She is loyal, dedicated, and compassionate.

Someone who is an intelligent, educated professional yet understands animals, and shows compassion for both people and animals. I am mostly interested in gaining new friendships; dating men, though not completely off the list, is quite secondary to me at this point in my life.

All my animals are trained and well socialized both to people and other animals. Both Tucker and Daisy have their CGC, and Tucker is an accomplished agility dog. Daisy (the baby) is still working on her obedience weekly but is a NATURAL for becoming a therapy dog. She REALLY has an affinity for people, especially children. Both dogs would be happy to socialize with other animals who are cat/horse/dog friendly, well behaved, active, and love the outdoors.
