Big brown eyes looking for a romping play date! The brown eyes belong to my dog, and the green eyes belong to me. I'm five feet tall, energetic, and generally good natured, if opinionated. I have step-children; they live with their father, just down the hall from me. I live in lower Manhattan, love long walks (with my dog) along the river, and enjoy good conversation.

Morgan is a shepard/lab mix. She's chocolate with caramel markings, so she looks like dessert, and she's very playful. While she's a big (65 lb.) girl and loves to romp with dogs her own size, she's very gentle with smaller dogs, and will let them climb all over her; she particularly likes pugs. She's also very good with kids. The elder cats are 12-year-old litter mates, devoted to each other, and are not looking for dates at this time; a pity since they are both so handsome. Gramercy came to me a few months ago. He was quite feral and was rescued by a neighbor. He loves being a house cat, and thinks that Morgan is his dog.

Mommy is fun and likes to laugh a lot. She pretends she isn't doing it, but she feeds me under the table. Her friends are really nice, too; she's pretty social, so there are always people around who pay attention to me. Sometimes she goes to movies or to other places where she says I'm not allowed. I think I should be able to go anywhere with her!

I am a woman seeking a man or woman age 35 to 50

I'm mostly interested in human companionship for me while my dog is having a good romp with her date. It would be nice to develop an actual friendship with the other dog's parent. While romance would be a bonus, a fun afternoon with good canine and human company is a success with or without it. I live in lower Manhattan and don't have a car, so Morgan and I are limited by where we can walk. She's gone as far as Greenwich Village, and in the nice weather, we walk up along the river and have lunch at an outdoor cafe. The Houston Street dog park (at the Hudson River) is a favorite of Morgan's, and the esplanade in Battery Park City is her usual hang-out. When she has the opportunity to take them, Morgan does very well on car trips.

If you're looking for a one and only or to get married, you're probably barking up the wrong tree. I think these things sound swell, but it's not my agenda. For now, I'm looking for nice conversations, movies, walks with dogs, maybe some dinners at home (I'm a very good cook) or out. If something more develops, that's great! I enjoy being with people who are smart, funny, kind, enjoy life, and love dogs -- and cats.
