I'm kinda quirky I guess, maybe a bit of a nerd at times. During the day I street perform as a hobby (I toss juggle and contact juggle, and I'm learning to spin poi) and I also work at the local animal shelter socializing the cats. I love all kinds of animals; mice, cats, dogs, horses, lizards, you name it. I'm really into music, all kinds of it, but most of my favorites no one has ever heard of. I like getting out and having fun, going to nightclubs, malls, movies, or just any random adventure.

My year-and-a-half old cat, Rags, is a Turkish Van mix. Shes the big white one with the brown tail and face spots. I adopted her from the animal shelter I volunteer at, and she quickly made herself the queen of the house. Its amazing how fast a cat can go from stray to spoiled powder-puff! The little brown kitten is Isabelle. Her mother died when she was three weeks old and she was given to me by my last boyfriend at four weeks old. She is a sweet little ball of mischief who loves to follow me around and chase things that don't exist. Shes learning to walk on a leash so she can explore outside with me when it gets warmer.

Rags: Shes just fine. She feeds me my favorite food twice a day, brushes my beautiful coat, doesn't mess up my fur when I want to be left alone, and keeps plenty of soft surfaces around. A perfect human slave. Isabelle: She plays with me and buys me stuff and feeds me stuff and pets me and loves me and snuggles me and shes just so much fun weeeeee!

I think its really important for anyone to have a good sense of humor (cheesey, yes, but so true). I'd love to have someone to just hang out with, do all kinds of fun things with. Random adventures are often the best. Anything from movie marathon nights to camping to board games to amusement parks. Its just fun to get out there and do things with other people. Its also a big bonus if I can bring a cat along. Isabelle loves traveling and coming places with me. I take her shopping in a soft side pet bag (and now on her new leash), and she loves it! She sees me getting my shoes and jacket and comes running.

Rags is a very independent girl whos picky about which cats she will tolerate. She mostly likes to sleep and groom myself in the sunny window. Isabelle, on the other hand, loves meeting new cats to play with and tackle and chase things with. =)

Cassie

My wonderful hamster Cassie. She developed cancer with complications and infections, and had to be euthanized on Memorial Day. She was a wonderful little animal, always curious and sweet. RIP Cassie.
