I am a Special Educator by profession; started out as a Special Ed Teacher in Tucson, AZ. I relocated to the East after the birth of my first grandchild; now i have 4; ages 4,5 and 4. I live outside a nice town called Saint Johnsbury on a dirt road; there are many dirt roads in Vermont. I don't own a tv but do have a phone. It is easy to find me if you know what book to look in or are good at puzzles. I only have a basic membership for right now. I am trying to relocate to NY state so i can be closer to them and to the Jersey shore which i love. I am fit, eat healthy foods, exercise on a regular basis in my home gym and take long walks/hikes with Aiko. She is always ready to take me on a hike or for a swim in my pond. I get a lot of pleasure from watching her enjoy herself with a companion dog!! and on our walks/hikes. After i move i will probably get another dog; not sure if it will be a purebred black lab or a rescued dog. When i was a kid in grade the kids use to sing a song about my farm, I use to tell them that was not me i am not an old Macdonald. Now i live on a dirt Road in a beautiful area called Goss Hollow; guess they settled the area a long time ago in this part of Vermont Would love to find a passionate partner around my own age who also enjoys the outdoors, staying fit and living a reasonably healthy life style. Aiko, 2 yr old Black Lab/Shep mix; smart, well trained, loves to take dips and scout the pond's edges for frogs. My cat's names are Lucy, Lydia (elderly tortoise shell sisters), Blitzen, Blue and Prancer, 3 siblings who enjoy investigating the hedge rows, eating raw fish and taking a siesta is front of a sunny window.

She is considerate, kind and willing to go the extra mile for us. She lets us sleep on her bed, even pillow sometimes, during the winter as we live in a very old colder house in Vermont. She feds us well and gives each of us daily attention, combing, petting and talking with us. All in all she is one very special person; we are indeed very lucky to own her! She has even made arrangements for our well being in case she dies before she gets too old! LOL

I read Receiving Love and Passionate Marriage; both books have opened up my eyes about passionate relationships; I want such a relationship. I participated in Imago Therapy training to improve my partnership skills; I worked hard and came away with a deeper understanding of myself and learned specific communication skills that have been successful for thousands of couples. I would hope that a potential partner would be interested in reading some of these books and possibly taking a workshop with me. My friends describe me as sincere, responsinble, focused, caring and a good listener.
