Me and my dog, Harper, are really jonesing for a playmate. Harper has instructed me to ask for someone who is positive, except when he has the blues, because life is ebb and flow and I can handle that. Harper wants me to meet someone who isn't as much concerned with my body, but interested in my wit, loyalty, generosity, sensuality and depth of spirit and mind. That's what I look for in a mate. Harper is a Shepherd/Lab/Mix of who knows what. But he looks like a Shepherd. Upon closer inspection, he's a lab in a Shepherd's coat. He's a very sensitive guy. He's 4 years old. He's quirky. Well behaved. However, I have spoiled him. Because he's a dog. Why shouldn't he be spoiled? We're very close. When I am sad he licks my face. When the washing machine is on he freaks out and shakes, trying to crawl in my lap. He sleeps with me in my king size bed, as does Amy. Amy is my white cat. She is the devil. She never grew very big, but attacks Harper regularly. They chase each other through the house and wrestle. Harper can put Amy's head in his mouth -- and she likes it. Amy has no thought process, she is all synapse. She has no fear. She's Alpha. Harper is much more Beta. A loving, thoughtful guy who likes to play with other dogs, but understands dog boundries.

Oh my Mom -- she's artsy. She likes white iced tea. She gives me treats every day and makes sure I have my walk. She always shares her dinner with me, unless it's tomatoes or bread, cause I don't like that. She likes watching movies on TV. There is a silver thing that she puts a round thing in and it puts a movie on the TV. If she gets sad, I get sad, but she doesn't like making me sad, so she hugs me. Sometimes we drive out to Oxnard. My mom swims in the ocean, but I like to sit in the ocean. My mom laughs easily and has a great smile. She's gentle and sweet. I want her to find a best friend and partner, then I'll have more people, dogs and cats to play with. Peace, Harper.
