I'm a vivacious, fiesty 31 yr. old who loves old school country music, punk rock, blues, etc. My dog is my best friend, and I'd like to meet others with pets who'd like to hang out with me and my dog. I'm a bit of a homebody but when I'm out and about I like to see movies, go for walks, check out art museums, and listen to live music. Reading is one of my great pleasures and I'd love to talk with people about books. I like to read fiction, nonfiction, mysteries, and contemporary poetry. Right now, I'm reading "The Emperor of Scent" by Chandler Burr. It's about the science of scent and has a lot of information about perfumes. Diesel is funny, loveable, loyal and loud. He's a Miniature Schnauzer and he and I are very close. I'm a very liberal mamma and he's allowed on the furniture and the bed. He also has a bad habit of jumping up on people, and I haven't been able to break him of it. His favorite things are food and walks. He barks at anyone walking by. He's super social and loves to play with other dogs. He's particularly fond of singing along with the bloodhound that lives next door.

Diesel would probably say that I read too much. But he also would say that I'm a sucker for cuddles.

I'm looking for someone who wants to spend time with me and my dog. Diesel and I are a package deal. Friendship comes first and any dating situation would have to be a natural progression from that.

Diesel loves all pet encounters, but long-term relationships are ideal. He likes friendly, social dogs who aren't mean or too territorial. He tends to do well with girls or other neutered males. Must love to run around and chase or be chased. Diesel does really well with bigger dogs. Opposites attract and while Deez is high energy, he's had great success with big, friendly, mellow dogs.
