I am a huge animal lover! Spent alot of time recently rescuing alot of stray cats that were living on my street. My pets are my family and are very important to me, and so glad I found this site as it's nice to know there are others out there that feel the same way. I live in Australia but will be moving to North America soon, and I'm really looking forward to it....want to do some skiing! I've been really busy in my "career" for the last 15 years, and I now see that you can't really measure success in life by how well your career is going (why does it take so long for many of us to figure that out?). It's time to change that and start living my life for me! I love adventure, travel, spontaneity and having fun. I don't carry baggage from past relationships around with me, I think that's silly. Life's too short. I don't mind spending time by myself (in fact I like it!), and would much rather be by myself than be with someone I don't really want to be with. I don't want to be someone's trophy, though I can look pretty fantastic when it's called for, I'm very casual most of the time. I love going on vacations! When I'm on holidays I love dressing up and going out at night. But when I'm not on holidays, I hate bars and that sort of stuff (find it really boring). But there's something different about going to a bar when you are in Hawaii or somewhere different.

All of my cats were rescued from my street! I came here with 1, now have 20. Some are wonderfully affectionate, some are still really frightened of people and will take some time until I can pat them.

She is a wonderfully kind & generous lady who scared us when she first put the trap out, but we are all so happy we walked into it! She rescued us all from life on the street, got us all vet care, desexed etc and gives us lots of love and attention.

My ideal date would also be an animal lover. Someone who understands that life is about more than work. Someone happy to pack up & go on a trip to Hawaii or somewhere else on a moment's notice (assuming a good petsitter can be found!). I don't want someone that expects me to dress up in high heels everyday! I don't really care where you live, as I'd move for the right person (though not to Alaska!). And someone who's not carrying around baggage from past relationships...I don't relate to that at all. I've put in my profile that I'm single (even though I'm divorced) because the divorce thing means nothing to me...it's over & I'm single!

We already have lots of cat company, but we are all very social and some of us take the attitude "the more the merrier"! Rough around the edges is cool with us, as we all came from the streets!
