I have a twisted sense of humour that, more often than not, can get me into trouble! I'm looking for someone who can see the humour in others as well as themselves and enjoys life. Gifts and cards won't impress me as material things just don't do it for me. There are so many other ways to show how much you care and the more creative and spontaneous, the better. I own 3 dogs... at the moment! My weekends are usually taken up by dog shows but, when I do have a weekend to myself, I like to make it count! I don't want someone who requires my life to revolve around them - but sharing it is definetly allowed! I'm on an "extended vacation" in PEI at the moment but plan to return home permanently to Southern Ontario in the fall.

I am the owner/breeder/handler of German Pinschers. I currently own 3. Mother, daughter and a half-brother to the daughter. The girls are black & tan and the boy is stag red. I've compete in Conformation and Agility. I have travelled all across Canada and some of the northern States to exhibit my dogs. Although not a common breed, they are anything but "rare". Similar in looks to the Doberman, but only measuring 17-20" and weighing between 28-38lbs. Very terrier in temperament.

I am a woman seeking a man age 30 to 38

Ideally, the man I end up with will be non-judgemental and leave the past exactly where it is. He will be supportive of my dreams and ideas without trying to change my mind to suit him. He will be willing to share his life with me and my 4-legged kids as we are a package deal. The last man I was with asked me to choose between him and the dogs. Guess we all know what my choice was since I still have the dogs! lol I can respect someone's desire to have alone time; whether it be with me or other friends and I expect the same in return. I am not a needy person and do not want that in a man. He must be confindent, independent and be one of those guys who can dress sharp for dinner but still be able to put on his jeans and t-shirt and get dirty at times. Being able to have fun and have class at the same time is possible.

August 5, 1999 - May 7, 2006 I started into competitive dog sports (Conformation) early in 1999 with my first purebred dog - a Great Dane (Leanonme's Ms B Haven V Cheviot) . Although she was very much loved, it became apparent to me very early that this was not the breed for me. Cancer of the liver and spleen caused her early passing and she will always be remembered as the 'Crazy Dane' of the family and live on in my kennel name and all of our hearts.

March 27, 2000 - December 17, 2005 I discovered the German Pinschers in late 2000 with Joker. He accomplished multiple Best of Breed wins over Specials and would easily have gained his CH title had he been a registerable dog. Awarded the #5 spot for Top GP in 2002. We discovered agility together and found that he could compete even without being registered. The #1 GP in the AAC in 2003, the youngest GP to achieve this award, he was an amazing friend and is greatly missed. He was my friend and companion for over 5 years and there will always be a empty space in my heart that will never be filled because of him. He is the reason I have become so devoted to this breed and his memory will always live on in my kennel name - and my heart.
