I'm an avid reader and very very allergic to cats. I have one tattoo on my left forearm. Tribalish, made for me by a friend so it has no set meaning. Thanks to Lasik I don't have to wear contacts or glasses anymore. Loving my new 15/20 vision. Currently I am attending a local college for my second year, so I am still living at home with my mother and my soon to be 19 year old brother. Plus it is the only way I can live with my Keeshonden as most apartments around here only allow small sized dogs, and Leo and Sully are medium size. Love to horseback ride, but haven't ridden in about 5 years due to right wrist injury that happened in gym class while in the 8th grade. Going in for a second surgery next month. Hopefully this time around the doc will find out what is causing the extreme pain. I miss riding and all the drawing and painting I did before the pain got really bad again.

I have had my 6 year old Keeshond Leo (is more of a fox faced Keeshond) since he was 6 weeks old. He is my best friend and has helped me through many tough times. And I just adopted Sullivan, my 3 year old Keeshond (bear faced) in Dec.2006. His original family had to move into an apartment in another state and couldn't buy a new house right away. But he is in a good home now. He is really active compared to Leo who is now an adult dog. But Sully is still settling in and is very attached to my mother. I plan to do extensive obedience training with him this summer. My third pet is a Russian Hamster named Cue Ball. He is all white with red eyes. He is really sweet acting and doesn't bite unless you rudely wake him up. He is going to be my last small animal for a while. I have had 2 Russian Hamsters, and 2 dwarf russian hamsters before Cue. I also live with the pound puppy I adopted for my brother and gave him for Xmas in 2005. His name is Nero and he is a year old.

My mom, or as I like to call her my anam cara (soul friend) is very kind and generous. She has raised me well and has never hurt an animal in her life. She has always let me sleep on her bed, and of course Sully and Nero are allowed that priveledge aswell. But I always get the honored spot right next to my mom. She is very mature for her 20 years, and loves to read. She is constantly mistaken for being younger than she really is. She is working on getting into shape and being healthy.

I really would like to find someone who is my best friend first and then go from there. I am not experienced in dating. I am looking for a guy who is kind, funny, and they must love dogs. If you don't accept my Keeshonden then don't even bother. I will always have a Keeshond in my life. Average height. Body type doesn't matter much. Personality is so much more important to me. I would prefer that they live in the surrounding area or county as I will most likely still be living in Buffalo for the next few years while attending college.

Leo gets along with all dogs...well the exception is pugs. I don't know why, but he really doesn't like pugs, especially his archnemisis, the black pug that lives up the street from us. Leo likes the outdoors, he especially likes to try and drag his poor owner into wooded areas. He is a typical 6 year old Keeshond. He would rather just explore or be adored by people and get lots of scratches. He loves to sleep in bed with his owner and doesn't mind being used as a pillow or kicked in the middle of the night. Sully is 3 years old and so is more active than Leo. But he doesn't have alot of socialization experience. He barks ALOT! The plan is to take him back to obedience school and get him listening more and more accepting of other dogs. He isn't agressive to other dogs, he just barks alot and does his Keesie smile which some take as a threat. Basically his manners need work. He does like to play keep away with rawhide bones. Its about the only thing he will play with. He is scared of any toy that squeaks, and the vacuum. He does play fight with my brothers 1 year old mutt pup Nero though. We all would like to find a walking buddy as we are going to start a daily walk routine once the weather warms up around here. Sully is a tiny bit overweight for a male of his breed, his previous owners fed him alot of treats and didn't exercise him enough. And Leo has a thyroid problem that was recently diagnosed, so he is about 20lbs overweight and so walking daily is a must to try and help bring his weight down as the meds he is on won't help with his weight that fast. Plus losing the weight will help his arthritis.
