I guess what most my friends would say about me is that I am a very loyal and dependable person. I do tend to be a little passive and laid back. Although I will let you know when something is bothering me. I like to hang out and have fun. I am a people pleaser, I go out of my way for my friends and family. I love movies, reading books, music (all kinds), and just hanging out with friends. I like to play pool although I suck at it...lol Laughing is the key to life. Spending the weekend with my neice is always a highlight too. I listen to everything! I do not have a favorite band at the moment. I enjoy LIVE music, from the sounds of New Orleans, to a good jam at Slims in SF.

Skooter is a Border Collie and Chihuahua mix. I know you ask how that happened; well he was a love child. His mom (the border collie) fell in love with Mr. Chihuahua from down the street and they made Skooter and his brothers and sisters. Skooter looks very much like a Jack Russell Terrier (black and white), but he does not have that spring in his step. Not a very hyper dog at all. In fact he takes after his four legged mom and likes to herd things. Skooter is Mr. Attitude and will let you know when he doesn't like something. Usually with a look that lets you know EXACTLY what he is thinking. He is great with cats and other older dogs. He will growl at the younger dogs to let them know he is too old for anything they want to dish out. He is my old man. He has great expressions and is a very well behaved dog. I have a lot of stories to share. Bailey is a pure Boxer, Dark Brindle in color and 100% chicken. Bailey's four legged mom and dad live with my best friend’s father and his wife. He was born in the second litter and with a total of 7 pups in his litter. Bailey is a little slow or very special. He is a bit skittish, ok a lot skittish, he is my chicken, he is prone getting frightened and running down the hall. If you knock on my door, he will bark from behind me, keeping me between him and the door. Mom is so proud to know that I am a dead woman, but at least he will be safe. :0) He does the same when we meet other dogs and their parents. He is interested in other dogs, but it is the parent on the other end of the leash he has issues with, at least for the first few meetings, eventually he becomes comfortable, but in his own time. All he cares about are cookies, cookies, and more cookies. Hey did I mention he likes his cookies? If you come over he will be your dog, and forget all about mom, especially if you give him a cookie and more cookies.

If my boys could talk, Bailey would not say a word, too bid of a chicken. Skooter would probably tell you that he is number one. And then he would tell you that I am a great mom and I am very loyal and fun. Sometimes grumpy, but over it quickly.

I am a woman seeking a man age 27 to 33

Wow, I hate this talk about me crap. I can talk about my dogs all day, but talking about me is another story. I am open to friendship, casual dating, and eventually I would like to get married and have children (the two legged kind) of my own, but I am in no rush. If dating someone I would need someone who has a srtong faith in GOD and loves his family. I am very family orientated.

Older dogs are probably best. If you are a young pup, please be aware that Skooter will growl and complain about the youngsters these days. He is an old man and doesn't play like he used to. Bailey wants to play, but I an not sure he really knows how...lol He needs someone who can take a big hit every once in while. Bailey doesn't know his own strength and smaller dogs who can not handle roughness of a big dog are probably not the best match for him. It will take him a while to warm up. Now if your small dog is like my mom's small dog (tenatious and can take anything a big dog can dish out) then there wont be a problem. Like I said my boys are older, so neither of them play like they used to. Bailey being a boxer, has the energy, once he figures out it is time to play, it does take him a while though.

Truckee

My dear sweet Rottweiler. Truckee had the heart and size of a lion and thought he was a 10 lb lap dog. He would do anything for treat including rolling over and dancing. He passed at a young age way before his time in October of 99. I miss his big brown eyes and the hours of entertainment he provided. A plastic pool filled with water, could keep you busy laughing for hours! He was very protective, determined and full of nothing but love. He loved people and would do anything for attention even lean on you until you gave it.  He Loved attention and loved to be vacuumed. He protected my niece when you’d try on tickle her by barking at you until you let go. He had no mean bone in his body, but if you tried to break in when we were home, he let you know he was there and meant business. Ask my brother who tried to hope the fence when he locked himself out, took him 20 minutes to make Truckee realize it was him. He was a great dog and member of the family, so many stories and memories to share. I miss my 165lb lap dog.

Pepper

The craziest dog I ever met. Pepper was my dog (even though dad says different) a great combo of Rott, Australian Shepherd or Border Collie and Chow, she had the best of all breeds. She had a long life for a large dog. She would not do anything that exposed the belly (alpha female to the bone) or that she deemed as insignificant (which was any trick, she expected you to just give it to her, heaven forbid she has to work for it). Strong headed and a lot of fun. If she were human she'd be Italian, could guilt you into doing anything for her. She loved to herd anything. She taught the other dogs to do things for her, she taught Jake (a cattle dog) to pick apples off the tree for her. She would growl snarl and give you kisses at the same time and she would never hurt you. In fact she would protect you with her life. I have a lot of stories to share. She was my friend and sister and I miss her dearly. She had a will like no other in the end it was too much, she passed in April of 2004 at 11 years old.
