I'm a transplant to Louisville, and I really like living in the Highlands. There's always activity in this area of town, and I enjoy how progressive it is. I also like all the cool restaurants like Lynn's Paradise Cafe', Kashmir, and Molly Malone's. Highland Coffee is really cool too.

I used to live at the New Jersey Shore a block and a half away from the Atlantic Ocean. Needless to say, I'm still suffering from culture shock and a bit of home-sickness, even tho I live very close to my family now.

I have a master's degree in experimental psychology. I used to work in the human service field, but now have a position as an accessible test editor at the American Printing House for the Blind.

I'm an idealist and am a pacifist. I'm very anti-Bush. I love rock-based music - you know, pop, alternative, punkish, some metal, some oldies and some classic stuff. I venture out to a bit of jazz, R&B and rap sometimes, too. Some artists that I enjoy are Nickelback, Green Day, The Fray, AFI, My Chemical Romance, Corbin Bleu, Ryan Cabrera, Smash Mouth, The Merediths, VHS or Beta, The Monkees and Moby. I like concerts and plays, but I don't go to them often enough.

And, my cat? His name is Zandar, and he weighs 28 pounds! He's really neurotic, but he loves me a lot! And I love him!

low down on my pet(s):	Zandar sez: Born in Trenton, NJ, I was an urban kitty. Then I moved to The Jersey Shore and I was a sea-baby! Now, I live in Louisville, KY and I'm a Bluegrass cat! Mommy calls me the "prettiest kitty in the whole wide city"! She also says I have the "sweetest feet on the street" and that I have the "prettiest ears in years"! I remember on my first day home I was so scared! Mommy had toys all ready for me, but when I got in the house, I just ran away! I didn't let her pick me up for three days! My most embarassing moment ever was getting my forearm shaved so I could have an I.V. when I was in the hospital, after I got dehydrated. It made me look like a poodle! The indignity!!! I'm spoiled, neurotic and a big scaredy-cat! I can be a hissy-sissy, but when you get to know me, you'll love me. =^..^=
