I'm twenty years old and I'm at the tail end of a divorce. It was neither horrendous nor pleasant, but all in all, a learning experience. I'm interested in meeting intelligent, kind, funny people. I play poker, Magic the Gathering, video games, board games, love reading Harry Potter... and well, anything I can get my hands on. Tobey is as goofy as it gets. He's a mutt I rescued from the local animal shelter. He'd been in there since he was about 8 weeks old and was 3 months when I found him. He was supposed to have been killed, but the inmate who took care of that section of dogs took a liking to him and changed the date on his cage daily. He's a husky, german shepherd, coyote mix. He is absolutely as sweet as it gets and demands tummy rubs and rawhides. He's also a very generous kisser. We're working on the appropriate times to kiss and how to sit quietly instead of pouncing anyone who comes through the door. He's also very smart. He always seems to know what's going on.. and loves television. Anything with boats and other dogs. He'll watch the entire Posidon Adventure without moving, which is saying something, because he's what I would call a little ADD.

She's the greatest! Every day, she plays with me and loves on me. She's so cuddly, and wants to cuddle even when all I want to do is play. But, she'll always throw my rope when I shove it in her lap. She keeps talking about a 'new puppy' and I don't know what that means, but if it means I get to play more, I'm all for it! She always has the best food... mm, food.. but... she's also lonely. The last guy around here kicked me and hit me. He told my mom she was stupid. She cried sometimes and I didn't like it. Once, I bit that guy. Mommy laughed and told me good dog. Sometimes, big guys make me nervous, but if you pet me and don't make my mommy cry, I'll like you. Also, she smells good.

An ideal date... well, it would depend on the person I'm out with. I love to stay at home and cuddle, watching t.v. or movies. But, I also love being out, dancing or sitting at a coffee shop and talking. Picnics, too, are nice. In a relationship, really, I'm just looking for solidarity, companionship, humor, and affection. Intelligence and a sense of humor is most important to me, and tolerance. I'm Pagan, so, hopefully it won't stand in the way of someone who's interested in me talking to me. I'll never preach or try to convert someone to my religion. It's not for everyone. However, I do expect the same respect. I love reading, painting, drawing, music.
