I'm a relatively outgoing person. I have been involved in fostering, rescue work, and now more fundriasing. I grew up in NY on the beach, went to school to become an archaeologist, and did become one for a while! Archaeologists don't make all that much money so after a few years living out of my car, I realized I needed to figure something out (but I still volunteer and dig each year). Now I'm a recruiter and a partner in a travel & adventure company, the Dogtravel Company. I like to travel, play sports, I'm a big hockey fan, I swim, and am usually up for just about anything.

Daisy is my golden retriever - she's the matriarc of the house. Buster is my mischieveous beagle, Max is my hardworking sheltie/lab mix, Buttercup is my rottie, Tulsa is my cat who we use to train dogs to hang out with cats (the first time I saw him with a dog he was riding ont he back of a german shepherd!!!), Simba is the son of a foster cat who was adopted and then dumped 2 years later. He's a great cat - he just thinks Tulsa is his mom since Tulsa tried to nurse him as a baby...

Our mom is great! She has some tough rules, but as long as we behave ourselves life is good! She takes us out at least twice a day for a couple of long hikes, in the summer she takes us swimming a few times a week, and we always get to run in the woods at least a couple of times a week. She's pretty patient when we bring her presents, although she prefers them to stay outside!
