"I was born in a wagon of a traveling show. My mama used to dance for the money they'd throw..." While I am not an "official" rock star, I've had my "15 minutes" of fame and an interesting career path--art historian, personal trainer, singer, writer, film production assistant, school administrator, and, most recently, educator (I have yet to try my hand at astronaut and Indian chief!). A little bit more about me: Former champion karaoke singer. Lived in Paris for over a year, and, while I speak French fluently, am still unable to tie a wool scarf effectively. Native Manhattanite, who believes that Philadelphia is as sophisticated as New York. Willing to spend money on a tattoo above an initialed handbag any day. Self-taught gourmet cook who only prepares salmon (maybe because I don't eat meat). Passionate about the arts and all animals, big and small. Very fit and young looking (must be the combo of good genes and healthy eating habits!). FYI, photos are very recent.

Sparky was a beautiful bi-colored persian with golden eyes and a gentle voice, Tiggy and Roo were Abby brothers who have been trained to give lip kisses on command, and Pie is just mush, the himmy survivor of her Sweetie, who passed on several years ago. While Sparky and Baby Roo just recently passed on back to heaven (since they were angels in cat suits), it is hard to write about them in the past tense. Tiggy and Pie are left to carry on their memories...
