My children are grown and my four cats are now a large focus in my life. I look forward to coming home to them and love to try to capture interesting pictures of them. Sometimes I succeed. If I could earn a living from taking pictures of my cats, I would love it. However, I am not that good and they are not that cooperative.

Elvis was obtained from a shelter when he was about 12 weeks old. I was told he was a one-and-a-half-year-old female. The vet told me, "Nope, 12-week male". He became very ill within days of adopting him, and was hospitalized for about a week. I visited him every day. By the time I got him home, he was very dependent on me. I didn't want him to be lonely when I went to work, so I adopted two brothers for him from a rescue group. Later, I became a volunteer with the same group and met "Priss" at an out-reach event. I adopted her in June 2007. Elvis appears to be a Norwegian Forest Cat. Peanut Butter and "Priss" are Maine Coons. Jelly is a short-haired tabby.

Our mom really loves us! She pets us and takes care of us. She buys us whatever food we like, and doesn't make us eat anything we don't like. Her friends don't understand why she loves us so much, and sometimes tease her about becoming a "crazy cat lady"! A few days before Christmas this year, we were playing with Mr. Christmas tree. He must have gotten very tired, because when mom came home he was taking a nap on the floor. There were broken ornaments and glass and water (from the tree stand) all over the floor. Mom didn't even get mad at us. She just cleaned it up and then bungee corded the tree to the ceiling.

My ideal date would have to like cats (obviously). He would be equally comfortable in jeans and a flannel shirt or a suit and tie (when necessary). He would like walks and bicycle rides on the boardwalk, and dinners at home watching a movie. I have season tickets to a local theatre, so it would be nice if that is something we could enjoy together.

All of the cats in our family are already in virtual relationships. However, they are always happy to make new friends.
