Hi, I'm Sarah. I live in Nelson, New Zealand (look me up on Google Earth! :) ). I'm 24 and work in a Nursery as Second in Charge of the Ornamental Plants Department, which means long days growing over 200 varieties of ornamental trees in the hot Nelson sun. It's great, fun work with a good team. I also have a second job, working as a retail assistant at a bakery, which gives me extra skills and good, much needed contact with the wider nelson community. (I've just moved here and know hardly anyone...) AND I'm studying Business part-time through correspondence. Whew! I enjoy lots of different things, if it gets me out of the house and relaxes me - I'm all for it! My horse is great - more about her below. :)

Misty is a 10 year old St James Stationbred mare. She's built like a quarterhorse (stocky haunches, powerfull, wide-set shoulders), and has stamina far exceeding mine and any other horse I've ever known! She's very cruisy, and pretty much my best friend. I can jump on her bareback in the paddock with no halter/bridle and she (normally) does what she's told. She's as brave as anything (except with big trucks) and we've had heaps of adventures together: * Helping the police find a flasher in a beachside park * Finding a major bush fire in the same beachside park, and helping the fire brigade access it through my knowledge of the area * Getting Misty stuck up to her belly in mud in an estuary (oops!) * Following a track which got more and more overgrown, not enough room to turn around, in the end I was crawling, Misty put her head down to the ground and pushed her way through behind me To name but a few!... She is my stress relief, and we have a very strong bond.

I take Mum riding at least 3 times a week, she's cool, doesn't over-control me, as long as we're heading in the right direction she's happy to let me choose my own route and speed. I get every care I need and I always give mum lots of cuddles when she comes to the paddock every day to show her how much I love and trust her.

I could seriously write a book on this one, but essentially I am looking for a kind-hearted, attractive man to be my partner. I am law-abiding, moral, ethical and fun, and I expect the same in a partner. I value my relative freedom, so one thing I am adamant about is that I will not be controlled by someone else. I will be friends with people I get along with, jealousy is a waste of energy, I would never cheat on someone.
