I am a single mother of a soon to be 8 year old boy and a dozen pets. I work as a quality engineer at a manufacturing plant. It's challenging work and I enjoy it. I love solving problems and helping people. My boy and I enjoy going to church and bible study and working in our yard and playing in the mountains. We love animals and are devoted to our pets. I enjoy volunteer work and have lots of hobbies and interests. I always enjoy good conversation over a good cup of coffee. I hope to hear from you.

Juno (10) and Reno (5) are our fun-loving black labs. They are females and best buddies. Reno is a rescue. The kitties are mostly rescues--either I found them in need or they found me. Stinky (9) is the oldest. She has pretty long, black fur and is a dear girl. Nutter Butter (8) was just 5 wks when I got her from a rescue. I call her my salt and pepper cat. Folfy (tabby) and Livvy (gray)are rescued brother and sister and are now 6. Felix (tuxedo) is 4 and is my little boy's best buddy. He showed up at my work one day and insisted on coming home with me. Kinny is going on 3 and is a pretty little tortie. She grew up in a barn and needed a warm home for the winter. Ginger (Siamese) and Georgie (tuxedo) are young siblings who were dumped out at my work last year. They are very sweet and loving and definitely our gain and someone's loss. Bubba and Zoey are two little black kittens that were in desparate need of some TLC and mamma just couldn't say no. After hand-feeding and much care and affection from both me and their adopted mother Ginger, they are little bundles of energy and keep us laughing. We love them all dearly and are glad we could give them a good life and warm, loving home.

The kitties say: "Our mother is a sucker for a stray, which is a good thing for us, but not always for her. Some folks think she's plumb crazy, but we know she's just big-hearted. Her little boy thinks we can do nothing wrong, but mama knows better. We love that she lets us lay around all day (we have her fooled into thinking that we don't know how to do anything constructive). Sometimes we feel bad that she has to work all day and then come home and take care of us, but we don't let on. She loves us despite ourselves and we appreciate all she does. We try to show it by making sure she never has an empty lap or cold spot in the bed." The doggies say: "We are happiest when our humans throw a stick for us or take us camping and hiking. We pretend to be scared so they let us sleep in the tent with them. We love to follow mom around as she mows the lawn (there's a lot of it) and works in her garden. Some of the kitties pretend to like us, some simply tolerate us, and others are afraid of us. We pretend to love them all just so mom thinks we're saints."

Until I found this site, I always assumed finding someone like me was impossible. Now I know it's only highly improbable. Seriously, it's just nice to know that there are other people who are as big-hearted as me who can't help but love and care for those in need. I don't have a list of requirements, I just want to meet someone who is kind, sincere, and understanding.

We're all fixed so forget the romance. We just think our mother could use a little human interaction/conversation. She says she'll try and post some pictures soon so you can see why she loves us so much.
