I would like to find a partner who loves animals as
much as I do. For over 20 years I have had a family
of labs but now only one is left, a beautiful 14-year
old yellow girl. The new addition is a Great Pyrennes
puppy. I also have a 30+ year old green Amazon parrot
and have had the usual array of small mammals and
reptiles over the years. My interests include
wildlife rehabilitation and volunteering at an animal
hospital. I do have other interests though! Tried my
hand at a few artistic pursuits and can name most
native plants and geologic formations. Gardening is
another hobby and I am currently enjoying browsing the
seed catalogs. Cooking and baking are great but I need
someone to share with. My favorite wines are white and
I really enjoy going to wine tastings and learning
about how different wines are made. I love anything
having to do with the ocean and I love to travel - I
like a balance of activities and relaxation when I'm
on vacation. My two wonderful children are grown and
on their own but we are a close family.
I am creative, funny, youthful (I often hear that
someone can't believe I have kids in their 20's),
laid-back sometimes and intense sometimes,
enthusiastic, a little adventurous ... eclectic tastes
in everything from music to furniture to food.

Our Mom is so funny! Everyone around her is usually
smiling. We get our food in the morning but if we're
good we get to lick bowls and have a little bit of
people-food later in the day. She's been very patient
with the new puppy and has had alot of fun playing with
him in the snow. Humans can't seem to tell, but we
think she's a little lonely and needs another human in
the house. We think she needs a "man" but she always
says he will have to love her *and* us if he wants to
stay! |
