I am 23 years old. I am originally from Saskatchewan,
but have spent a lot of time travelling and
discovering new things. I am in the midst of starting
a new degree in Animal Health Technology, with the
hope of working in a zoo. I have spent the last couple
years persuing a Geology degree at the University of
Saskatchewan, while working for Saskatchewan Industry
and Resources as a junior feild geologist. I have
decided to switch careers because I am not interested
in exploiting natural resources. I had planned on
working with volcanism and earthquakes. But it is too
hard to pursue a career in those subjects in Canada.
My number one love in life is animals. I personally
own two dogs (a Jack Russel, and Chihuahua/Corgi
terrier), a black cat, and a Red-footed Tortoise.

I have two dogs (Spot and Cisco) aged 10 and 7. I have
a black cat, named Tag who is 3 years old. I found him
when he was around a week old on the side of the road.
His mother had been killed, and he was a runt. But now
he is doing spectacular! I have a Argentinian
Red-footed tortoise, named Eva. She is the most
amazing animal, and very intellegent. She is 8 months
old, I got her when she was 2 months old. She will
probably end up outliving me because Tortoises usually
live 50-60 years. But I plan on keeping and caring for
her, as long as I can! |

Our owner spends more time with us than she does with
her friends. She puts us first, and is always ready to
take us for a walk, or feed us, or even take us outside
to get some fresh air! Our water bowl is always full,
and our food dish is never empty! |

My dogs are very active, and go for a hour walk every
day if it is not too cold out. They are older, but
enjoy to play, and have no problems getting along with
any other dogs, or cats that are intersted in letting
them get near. My cat also likes all animals, except
for others cats... Which he will usually chase away.
Though he likes kittens... He is kind of strange! My
tortoise is quite curious with other animals, and
likes to play with my cat a lot. |
