I work in health care (and actually like what I do), I
love to cook, write, read and swim, I love animals,
and I'm trying to be the best mother I can be.
Actually, I'm striving to be the best mother,
daughter, friend, and woman. I find the good in

Rosie the Standard Poodle, Johnny the Wonder Parakeet |

pet(s): |
Johnny the Parakeet was my daughter's 5th birthday
present. He loves to sing and make a mess. If he's
squawking, all I have to do is whistle a bit and then
he starts to sing.
Rosie, my poodle came to our home on 1/31/09. Both of
her parents are champion show dogs and she was sold to
a man who wanted to show her. She was woefully
neglected and finally returned to her breeder who
fostered her until I met her. It was love at first
site. She's still a bit skittish, but is coming more
and more out of her shell every day. Rosie and my
daughter chase one another around all the time and
they get good and tired, they both cuddle up with me.
***UPDATE: Johnny the Wonder Parakeet passed on July
7th. Honestly, I've never seen my daughter so upset... |
