I am a part-time artist. I have collected a few early
20th century framed art prints and a lot of antique
postcards. I love vintage art. Glass art is another
love of mine. I dream about trees a whole lot. I
love 'em! If I had to choose between the ocean,
mountains, or trees, I'd definitely choose trees,
trees, trees.
I've trapped/altered/released many cats since the mid
1990s. It was difficult in Arkansas without much
support. Then we (ex-husband and I) moved to
California and were able to take advantage of Maddie's
Fund, and got a lot of cats altered and released. I've
fed colonies of cats and met some wonderfully
altruistic people in doing so. I've been back in
Arkansas a year and a half after living in Washington
state for 5-1/2 years. I've adopted cats from each
place I lived. I would love some cat-loving buddies
no matter where you live. It's a unique experience
and has nothing to do with being a "crazy cat lady."
It's merely a "calling" that can't be ignored. I have
lost too many wonderful cats to post memorials for in
the "heaven" section.
