First and foremost, I live for my cats. They are my love, my life, my world. I have been rescuing cats for years, and dream of one day living in the country with acreage to be able to enjoy and care for other animals, as well, both domestic and wild. I had considered becoming designated a "shelter" until I learned that meant the "kids" have to be available for adoption....NO WAY! Some find this intimidating and are afraid they won't be the center of attention. To that, I say: Chill, there's always more love to go around. I hope to meet someone who is secure enough in his being that he can join me in this adventure of the animal world. Animals are beautiful and amazing creatures! I actually petted a snake in the woods once! :) (I looked it up online when I got home...phew...wasn't poisonous!) Other interests not already listed include Harleys, graphic and web design, geocaching, craft fairs, Renaissance Faires, yard sales, and home improvement. I'd love to go for a balloon ride one day. Cats will be cats. I have 4 ferals, but two of those are slowly becoming more comfortable, and I look forward to the day I can say they are no longer feral. :) My "kids" range from 7 months to 11 years. The little ones sure keep me busy! There are black ones, black & white ones, tuxedos, calicos, torties, long-hairs, 1 persian, tabbies. I'm also caring for 3 strays outside and the 2 males have finally learned to share space without fighting. Good boys! :)

They would complain that my lap isn't big enough for all of them at once, though Bubby and Peanut (1-year-old brothers) do compete to get closest to me, until I've got one climbing and squirming under my chin as he tries to push the other away. LOL Silly. They do love their mommy! :)

Well, he's got to be an animal lover. And, definitely a non-smoker. The rest: Confident, but not full of himself. He must be intelligent (including knowing what correct grammar and spelling mean), honest, sincere, caring, thoughtful, and loyal. He should be open-minded and accepting. He likes to play and be silly. Enjoys being barefoot. Is adventurous...willing to try new things. Is spontaneous. Enjoys having fun and living life to its fullest. Prefers talking things out rather than fighting. Knows how to listen, is interested in what people are saying rather than being so caught up in his own thoughts that he barely hears the other person. Has a sense of humor. Surface stuff: chemistry, based on physical attraction, is important in a relationship. I prefer a full head of hair and a fit physique....extra poundage doesn't work for me. Sorry, just being honest. Phew....not asking for too much am I? ;)

We've got plenty of pals to play with....we're just looking for treats! We think birds and fish are yummy! Mommy probably won't let us eat them, though.
