Buffy became my daughter when she was 10 weeks old and slept on my head (my personal opinion is that she thought I was another litter mate)and has been the joy of my life since. She is a real clown with her own personality and definate opinions. She is the Energizer Bunny from early morning until 9:00 PM when somehow the "off switch" works (I have yet to find this) and she curls up on her many, many beds and goes to sleep. She knows she is beautiful and works her looks to her advantage. Everyone she knows is wrapped around her little paw!

My Mom is a really nice lady. She's kind, understanding, compassionate, tough when she has to be and can handle any emergency I throw at her (she falls apart later). She takes care of everyone and although I do my best to take care of her I think she needs someone to be her "human" best friend. The past three years have been really tough for her and she has put her life on hold to deal with what she had to and now I think she has to take time back for herself. As long as you understand my Mom's philosopy... Love me, love my dog, and are a really good man inside and out we would love to meet you. (please be warned if you play games or are into any addictions I will bite you!)

I am looking for an equal partner in life. My ideal date would be a romantic dinner...candlelight, music, the works followed by maybe a hand holding walk window shopping and talking. I am tired of the game playing men, problem histories and men who want to be taken care of...who want another mother not an equal mate. My Mom and I are in search of a one mate partner. I like the outdoors, buy Mom has allergies so some things are a little bother on her nose. Our perfect partner would come from a good family, share our ideas and interests and maybe bring some new interests to us. Someone who is responsbile and caring, thoughful and kind with a good head of their shoulders.

Heather

My first best friend came to me when I was 14 as a 4 week old, soft, lovable collie. The family that had her wanted to go on vacation and sold the puppies earlier than they should have been taken away from their mother. This being our first dog we had no idea about how long puppies had to stay with their mom's so we had to take her to the vet everyday for the first week, she had to eat Gerber baby food and ice chips for the first month but she eventually grew up to be a beautiful, gentle, intelligent, sweet soul that everyone in the neighborhood knew and loved. She used to give the little kids in the neighborhood rides on her back and could be left outside on our patio, off leash (and under the very watchful eye of my mom) and would lie there for several hours watching the kids play, then would scratch at the door when she wanted to come back in. She would stay at my bedside the entire time whenever I was sick only leaving to go out to the yard, eat and immediately return. During a bout of pneumonia that I developed I started to choke in my sleep one night. My parents slept at the other end of the hall so Heather hearing the change in my breathing went barking and running into my parents room trying to wake them. When she couldn't wake my dad, as he was a heavy sleeper, she bit his hand to wake him and immediately ran showing my parents to go into my room. My Mom & Dad followed her and found that my airway had blocked due to the pneumonia and I was barely breathing. If Heather had not done this I most likely would not be here today. The doctors even admitted this to my parents and told them I had my very own "Lassie". We had a wonderful life growing up together but suddenly one day she had a stroke due to old age but was able to be put to rest in her own home, in her own bed with her family all around her. As an only child she was my "furry sister" who I was lucky to have for 12 & 1/2 years and I am still sure she looks out for me to this day.

Morgan

Morgan was a rescued cocker spaniel who I adopted when she was age 2 and on the day she was due to be put down. She had a horrible life before coming to me and I was told she had been beaten, abused, starved and neglected her whole life. She even had fear aggression and would tend to attack when I first got her, but looking into her beautiful eyes I could see a sweet soul was in there just waiting to have care, love and affection shown to her. She was a champagne buff cocker who by spending only two days with me completely let all of her past go and turned out to be the sweetest, kindest, lovable and protective little girl I could ever have wished for. She and my father would take daily hour long rides on the golf cart together, but due to her past she had terrible health problems, which her vets and I handled as each crises came along and she had a wonderful time with us. After her only being with us for 3 years she developed a tumor on her heart which we kept in check for many more months than the vets dreamed of but she eventually went into congestive heart failure. When she became sick I promised her I would never let her suffer and on that day I kept my promise to her. Morgan's vet told me as I held her that "Before you came into her life, Morgan had two years of hell, but she had three years of heaven with you." My father passed away 1 year later so I know they are riding the golf cart around heaven, best buddies together again.
