I have a son age 11 yrs. ,two dogs, a mother and daughter duo,Springer/Cocker mix , three cats, two turtles, and some fish. Most of my pets I have rescued. I love my family, my pets, the outdoors, walking, hiking, would like to travel more,probably move at some point. I like meeting genuine and "down to earth" people. I could always use more good friends. I have lived on thhe West Coast , Canada and have been in the prairie for awhile now. I can totally appreciate lots of trees, mountains , being around water,etc.Sometimes it can be hard meeting the kind of people I would like to meet so when I heard of this I thought it sounded fun!My dogs are very friendly with people, selectively friendly with some dogs, and my cats are very friendly and loving but one is quite shy till she gets to know you .I guess mainly I'm in to dogs and cats , but do like other animals too. There are still a few types of pets we haven't had but I have figured out that there probably is a reasonable number of pets to have in one's life.

They would refer to me as their Mom. My pets love me of course. Lassie and Lucky love the walks I take them on , and when I take them to our favorite park where they can run in the woods and smell the wonderful wildlife scents. They appreciate that I let them run loose with me as we walk. They know I think of them when I come home from the store with special treats. My cats appreciate a soft lap to lay on, and warm hands to pet them. Even though the long haired calico gets tired with being brushed and nips every now and then, she knows I want to keep her looking beutiful.

I am looking for someone who is honest, kind, caring, a good talker and a good listener, likes children, is patient. Of course it's important that our values match up. I like someone outgoing, although a little shy would be okay. I love to talk though. I've always liked kind of tall guys. I'm looking for someone who is not superficial, someone who is a little complex, but someone who is healthy. I'd like to get in to more hiking , try camping again, some day see some different places in the U.S. and Canada. I want someone that I can have fun with , be serious at times, and just share life with. I like the idea of having friends and really getting to know someone to see if there is compatability. I do value friends and haven't had many men friends for awhile . I'm here right now but open to the idea of moving to other places in the future. I can see myself in some place like Northern Idaho, British Columbia, Washington, Alaska, or maybe some place I haven't imagined yet. I've found it's not as easy to be a free spirit if you are in charge of bringing the herd along ; it makes things more complex and not so easy to be spontaneous ! It would be interesting just to meet some other pet lovers , see if a friendship develops , or whatever.

Lucky is very playfuland is a definite attention hog. Lassie is playful too but a bit more serious. She likes to be dominant, can be bossy , and may be aggressive with smaller dogs. They dfinitely are looking for the outdoor type . Neither will be having children unless they should adopt a puppy. Both are good with cats. The cats are probably just fine with no more cats. Three is probably enough ! They would definitely appreciate some feathered of small furry friends ! My son would love it if he could have a ferret ; but I've said enough pets now till you grow up and move out !
