Hello, I'm kinda new at this, so.....here goes. I raise Great Danes and currently have puppies. Which means I have 5 at the moment. Also have three cats, two birds and a wonderful horse. As you probably guessed, I show the critters. As for the two legged's, I have two sons that live with me and I home school besides working full time outside the home. While the teen age years can be a bit difficult, we usually all get a long and have a great time! I'm not much into the bar scene. I like quiet conversation over coffee. I enjoy great old movies like Arsenic and Old Lace as well as some of the new ones such as the Lord of the Ring trilogy. I've been described as a type of Renisance woman as my interests are wide and varied. I'm completing the landscaping on my house this year and am currently working on remodeling the inside--my sons and I have been working on it together. I love to work with my hands as my job is basically a sit behind the desk and maybe get outside for a break once and awhile type. I find humor in most anything---for that's what keeps life in perspective. I'm looking for a male that shares some of these ideals. You must be confident in yourself and in your abilities. And not be afraid to take some risks. (Like tearing out a wall and then discovering that some how or other those electrical 'thingys' were supposed to stay...)

One of the birds is an African Grey who has a very large and varied vocabulary. He keeps us in stiches!

To expand, someone who shares enough intersts to have things in common, but enough diffrences to be able to have some 'away' time. I dislike clinging, and outside interests are important to a healthy relationship. You must have a sense of humor and be able to laugh at yourself. No ego trips please. I'm a firm believer that you must begin slow and build a friendship before anything else follows. For sound relationships are built upon a sound friendship. I do many things by the seat of my pants--so no planners who must follow a plan. I enjoy life and try to take it as it comes.
