I am a good friend, a good listener, and love walks in the woods. I love going places with my dog. I like people too. I would like to meet people who like to take their dogs everywhere they do. I am more interested in friendship and chatting than romance.

Rags III is my pride and joy. He is a 12 year old, long haired silver and slate medium sized dog that I saved from the human society. He looks like he could be a bearded collie mix or a terrier mix. He knows 30 commands. We finally earned our Rally O obedience title I. We also passed all 14 steps of the TDI Therapy Dog International test and we go various community nursing homes, hospitals, and libraries. He loves to perform his tricks in front of audiences, but "talks" to me too much sometimes. Bear, my Teddy Bear, is a very large 15 year black cat and is Faline's son. He is a talker and a "Drama King" and is persistant in getting what he wants. I dearly love them all and spoil them every chance I get.

I have my Mom trained. She dotes on our every wish. Her hands massage us, brush us, and we love it. She takes me, Rags III, to the dog park and then treats me to a doggie ice cream sundae once in awhile. She takes me everywhere she goes if it is allowed and if not, I quietly wait in the car(in cool weather of course), watch the people go by, and watch for her return. When she puts on my bandana, I know we are "going out" and I am sooooo excited that I "talk at her" to hurry up. She is the greatest!

I am a woman seeking a man or woman age 50 to 65

I am looking for a person who would like to go to a dog camp, or a dog show, etc. I just found a site on the internet of a campground in NC specifically for dog activities. Rags and I love to go to Camp Dogwood near Chicago. It is four days of heaven for Rags. I would like to meet someone who is interested in this kind of thing. I am only looking for a friendship/chatting/travel relationship and of course including our dogs. I am looking for a financially independent person, who is honest, funny, and easy to talk to. I like a sense of humor. Looks doesn't matter. I am an obese woman who has been going to TOPS and am gradually losing weight, but if fat people turn you off, don't contact me. I would prefer you live within at least the 250 mile limit, so we could meet, and drive somewhere. Rags III is very gentle, but doesn't play much anymore and is slightly annoyed with those who want him to. He has never started a fight or got into a fight with any other dogs, but lets them know that he does not want to play. His dog buddies include a st. bernard, a german shepard, a yorkshire terrier, and a spitz, so he isn't particular.

Rags III would like a running buddy. He loves to run, jump over agility poles, and perform for an audience. He loves other dogs, but he is not a "hang around you" dog. He loves to track whatever is on the ground. He couldn't care less for frisbees, balls, and chasing stuff. He is gentle and "kisses you until you drop" or he'll clean out your ears really, really good. He likes to be dominant if he can, but runs away from any dog that trys to dominate him instead of fighting them. Rags doesn't like aggression.

Faline

Faline was my 18yrs and 4 month old soul mate. She loved to sleep with me and kneed my back. She was a powerful female in a household of males. She ruled the pack even if she was a tortoise shell calico cat. I still miss her.

Buddy

Buddy was only a month old when he found us. It took two weeks for him to tame down enough to come inside. He purred so loud that it sounded like a chain saw. His orange and white fur was the softest and most beautiful I have seen. I am still grieving for you Buddy, my Buddy.
