Gorgeous, coy, adorable, clown, aloof, but sweet natured and playful. Loves to run and jump with the "right" other playful friendly hound.

Though I am not always impressed by humans, (I prefer other hounds to hang with)...I must say that my new adoptive mum is different, adventurous, and very kind to me. I'm glad I adopted her. I lost my first home, my brother and parents, where I lived in NY. Its a long sad story, but anyway, I was lucky to have a temporary home with 12 other greyhounds and whippets for a while, where I played a lot. It was nice, it helped me forget my sadness, and helped me feel happy again. Still, I felt a bit left out being one of a huge pack of dogs, and missed having my very own "family", and my own "couch". I missed being the center of attention. Now she lets me spend the nights on her bed, and gives me lots of kisses and fresh cooked vegies. She lets me watch animal planet, which is one of my favorite shows, besides the travel channel, and old western movies with Clint Eastwood, especially that one with the mule and sister sarah. I am very glad that we found each other, she treats me like a goddess, which helps me feel much better and much less lonely after losing so much. She said she lost her dalmation girlie of 10 years just before she found me, so we both are very happy to have found each other. I love that my new girlie lets me have my choice of my couch, or her bed at night. Athough she gets a bit mushy sometimes, and I pretend I'm too cool to care, I still actually do like the mushy stuff. She keeps saying we may get a bus one day and hit the road to travel, but I don't care, I just like to go where she goes, and play and belong where I am loved so much. Sometimes she even takes me to a field in the country where I can run 40 miles an hour past her, I like that a lot. I always win the race with her when we do that. She loves to see me run so fast, and I love to show off just how fast I am. She's "da bomb". oh, wait, no I'm da bomb, she's da mom. She made my pic with a title on it that says "hounds rule", and I'm pretty sure it means I am "da bomb" to her....anyway, I love her, and she definitely loves me. :}

Just a hound that is gentle at playing with a greyhound. Of course they would have all their shots and be socially adept. My ideal hound date would be easygoing, maybe mid size or large, but charming, not too rough, but not too shy. From my dogs point of view: likes to run or chase in circles? Jump over me? Let me jump over him/her? Never bites or is mean or grumpy toward me. Someone who is always up for a good time, or just a quiet walk. Another greyhound, whippet or ridgeback is my fav but I love all nice, playful friendly dogs, especially the big boy dogs who are happy go lucky, somewhat respectful. A playful, outgoing, fun personality with a bit of charm, grace and ok, sometimes the "rugged" mixed breed boy dogs are fun, but mostly if they are also a "hound"or hound mix breed ... those guys do seem to know what I like when it comes to "playing"... I'm pretty open other than that. I don't like to wrestle or do rough and tumble, just good fast running, jumping and chasing. ;} s-
