I have two cats, they are great friends, they share a relationship that is comfortable for them, first one will initiate play and then the other will. They are an example for me of what I would look for in a partner for myself. They have a balance of sharing, and compatibility that seems to me to be a healthy relationship and very rewarding for both of them. I have a quirky/witty/earthy sense of humor, and expect and demand honesty in my relationships. I can be very serious about subjects and issues I feel strongly about but also know when it is time to let loose and have a good time on the spur of the moment. all things considered, a well balanced stable person with a love for the unusual, and unconventional. I don't always make good impressions but I will show my sterling qualities in the long run. I love anything to do with the arts, and and the creative process in any subject, second love would be science/animals/nature, also history. I believe in the values of freedom for individuals, and that government should not be fiddling around with them. (liberal/democratic/leftist) I love to be taken out to ritzy restaurants on occasion, and get all dressed up, but can also be happy with a wendys salad. If you can whip up a gourmet dinner at home, that's good too! I am tolerant and accepting of peoples differences, thats what makes each of us so special, I just want someone that can appreciate me for my own character. Yes, its easy to find a someone to have as a partner, but I am looking for that one that will make life worth living. You can call it a soulmate or someone that you will remember for the rest of your life, and I am willing to spend my life looking for this person. I enjoy biking, hiking, camping, museums~ history/art/science, pets, intellectual conversation/discussion. I do not like hunting/sports/football/SUVs/pick-up trucks, or country music/rap, ACK! I am not overly athletic, but not a sit around all day type either. I like someone to encourage me and suggest activities to do, but not be overbearing about it, I have a easy going nature, but still have ambitions. I am friendly and easy to get along with but am very choosy about who I maintain long term friendships with. The people who know me well know that I care deeply for them but also love to laugh and enjoy life. I like that mix of being balanced between reliable and dependable, but not boring at all. I look for that in other people as well.

Laura is pretty nice for an owner, I get food almost as often as I would like, and she does not mind that I run over her head at night...and purr in her ear and lick her chin... and then rubs my belly nice, I love it when she does that.
