I think I'm just a pretty all around regular normal girl. Well except maybe that I'm into Sci Fi more than most girls. I mean, I do own my own lightsaber, have a pod racer alarm clock and go to Star Trek conventions. I also love Karaoke and Sushi. Ok, I'm a freak. No, not true. I'm on the conservative side. Besides SciFi, I obviously adore animals of all kinds. I am a cat person but I love going to friends houses who have dogs. Over the years, I've also had fish, chincillas, guinea pigs and an iguana. I have 7 cats, which I know sounds like a lot. One is totally outdoors. She was my neighbors but he moved away and just left her. I just call her "Baby". I work as a volunteer for an animal rescue and went to New Orleans after hurricane Katrina to help with animals. My latest endeavor has been ballroom dancing. The rest of my free time outside of work, taking care of the lawn/pool, karaoke and general obligations of family and friends is spent trying to scrapbook my travels which have unfortunately been more limited these recent years but I try.

If you know the movies from which all these characters are from - Kudos! :) I think only the boys are obvious. The girls are from BatMan 2, Waterworld, and Dune. My oldest Spart is true blue. He is so mello and has taken care of all the others. Selena is prematurely blind and spends a lot of time under furniture but come out to eat and for attention. She sleeps under the covers with me. She also loves the outdoors. Vader is a sissy mommas boy who sleeps on my shoulder every night. Enola is the wild child. Alia is my wittle bitty baby who is 8 years old now! But I've had her since she was 3 weeks old when I rescued her and she always seems like a kitten to me. I got Gandalf in New Orleans 9th ward. Eric and Ariel I rescued from the animal shelter up in the desert where I live. Bunnies were new to me but I love them. I was going to name them Lewis and Carol in honor of the author of Through the Looking Glass (Alice in Wonderland) since Eric is a white Dutch.

I would like an average looking, educated, romantic man to spend time with. Things I am adamant about are he has to be at least 5'8" tall, not smoke, not be overly religous, not into country music and not a sports zealot like Jimmy Falon in the new movie Fever Pitch. If he is into movies, dinner, dancing, coffee, sushi, karaoke, sci-fi, cats and animals, traveling, crafts and roller coasters.......well, he would just be perfect. I have worked and commuted all over So Ca so I know my way around. I am usually available most weeknights and weekends but I do need some alone time every week. After you are alone for a while, it just kinda grows on you.
