Since I was a little kid, I knew that my maternal calling wasn't human babies, but the animal variety. I am so in love with all creatures, and am ever fascinated by them. I am godmommy to 2 of the most precious puppies in Manhattan, who live with their Mommy, who also happens to be my roommate and best friend. I currently split my time between Rochester, NY (upstate) and Manhattan. My own pets are an 11 y.o. Shi Tzu named Muppet, and a psychotic but lovely little fluffy monster cat named Mina. My best friend, Fred, recently was euthanized due to renal failure. I had him by my side for almost 19 years, and so my grieving is extreme. He was my light and hope in life. While I was studying Opera performance, he would literally yowl along with me. He hated the high notes though. I met Fred when I was 7 years old, on a cold winter afternoon, he was only 2 days old. Bennett will have his first birthday Dec.12th. Our cat Mina has progressed to hissing in his face and showing who's boss.
