I work in the telecommunications industry. In my free time I work with animal volunteer work, specifically dogs. My dogs have always been and always will be rescues or "mixed breeds off the street", I am strongly against the global puppy mill industry. I am vegetarian because of my love for animals and I like people who like animals. When I'm not busy with my dog I prefer to read, watch movies or write. I'm social/sociable and have a good sense of humour, which comes in handy with my dog, who can sometimes give me a hard time!

My dog is a rescue from the shelter in Stockholm. He was rehomed five times, he is a lovely dog and the only reason he was rejected is because of his breed (Pit Bull) people tend to be very prejudiced and don't know that pit bulls are the friendliest and most human-loyal of dogs precisely because of their background - they were bred for dog fighting which meant that strangers like the referee could check them before the dogfight and an injured dog could be handled after the dogfight - these dogs are truly the gentlest and most loving goofballs of the dog world that I have seen.... He is smart, intelligent and strong and very interested in the world around him! He loves people but tends to go for big male dogs, we are working on correcting this minor detail. He loves to swim, play Pull and to find stuff in exchange for treats. A favorite is to hide a specific toy (after showing it to him) and then he goes and finds the toy and comes to me with it. He can also do stuff like switch the lights on and get his basket, we keep these parlour tricks to entertain guests as this is good Public Relations for his breed....

She seems to love me; but she spends a lot of time getting in my way when I try to protect her from big dogs. She also spends a lot of time trying to tell me what to do. I wish she would play with me more often and stop pulling on that leash...
