Jonas was a rescue puppy who was abandoned with his brothers and sisters on the front steps of a shelter at 3 weeks old. He came home with me 5 weeks later and has been giving me unconditional puppy love ever since! He has a lot of energy and loves to play but is also content with curling up at my feet (or ON my feet) with a good bone and a good movie. He fancies himself quite the interior decorator and decided that our last home would look much better with hardwood flooring instead of carpeting. He is a shameless hussy when it come to belly rubs and performing for treats and will happily high-five almost anyone. Jonas loves people and other dogs but hates mini-blinds, cell phones and water.

Mommy is pretty great. She doesn't give me peanut butter or cheese often enough but she takes good care of me. She takes me out whenever I need to go and brings me to visit grandma and grandpa so I can play with my cousin Buddy. Mommy and I have a lot of fun together. She buys me yummy bones to chew and never gets tired of playing with me. Mommy always knows what I want and sometimes even knows what I'm thinking, especially when I'm up to no good! She's a good Mommy, even if she does hug and kiss me too much!

I'm not looking for just an ideal date...I want more. The big picture is this... I am looking for someone who likes to have fun as much as I do...fun being anything from a night at home with pizza and a movie to theater tickets to going out with friends. A man who likes his job but loves his mother, isn't overly needy and who won't be afraid to treat me right. Someone who will make me laugh as well as dry my tears, support my initiative and ambition but also respect my desire to have a family. Someone who likes to be taken care of but will return the favor! Someone with a great sense of humor who can laugh with me, at me and at himself! Someone to see the world with. I guess it just boils down to me looking for the one person to share fun times, intelligent conversations, goofy moments and life's daily stresses.

My ideal pet date would have to have a lot of energy 'cause I like to play! Fetch, race-me-up-the-stairs, chase-me-around-the-table and wrestling are some of my most favorite games. After playing, we could share some treats or a peanut butter filled bone (yummy) and curl up together for a nap. Then, we could wake up and do it all again!!!
