I am a 40 year old single female. I adore my companions. I have a 5 year old female Siberian Husky, a 3 year old male orange tabby, a 4 year old female tabby,a 3 year old tortoise shell, and 2 male gray & white tabby's who are 7 months old. All of them have either been adopted from shelters or picked up as strays and given a loving home. I spend 4 - 5 days a week at the gym. I love motorcycles and hope one day to own one. I enjoy walking around the lake by my house with my pup. I love hanging out with the kids as much as possible. I like to curl up with a good book and listen to music. I am picky when it somes to music. I can't say that there is any one artist I listen to, it's just that their music have to move my soul. I am a vegetarian and love to cook. But, I don't get all weirded out if people around me aren't. I am looking for a man who shares the same interests and values as I do. My family and friends(human & furry)are the most important in my life. Love, respect and honesty are huge things with me. I do not like liars.

Nieya is my 5 year old female Siberian Husky. Just as beautiful as ever and energetic. She's a clown sometimes and a love all the time. Seems we share the same heart. Nieya helps me rescue cats/kittens that have been tossed by our forest preserve. She won't leave until we catch them. We take them in and do whatever needs to be done to help find them a loving home. Hunter is my 3 year old male orange tabby cat. He is my very special little boy; my #1 son, my prince charming. He's my little snuggler who loves to sleep cheek to cheek with me. Sarra is my 4 year old female orange tabby cat. She was a stray in the neighborhood who was destined to live in a garage after her family moved. I took her in and she's the best hugger anyone could ever ask for. Sayen is my 3 year old female tortoise shell cat. She also was a stray who was living under a neighbor's house. She was so small and scraggly when I brought her home. She's my little gummy kitty because I can never get her off me. She's a sweetheart. Sterling is my 7 month old gray tabby who has become quite a character. He loves belly rubs and rough housing with his brothers. Engel is my 7 month old white/gray tabby who is truly the angel of the house. He is one of the most laid back kitties I know. Nothing bothers him. Life is good.

Our Mom is the greatest, silliest, most wonderful person in the world. She loves to chase us all around the house and gets on the floor and plays with us. She loves us all so much and hugs and kisses us all the time. We all pile in bed with her every single night; it's a family thing. She loves us beyond the moon and stars and we love her.

An ideal first date would be meeting at a dog park. I believe Nieya is a good judge of character and would love to have a new playmate. My uncle once said that you can judge a person by the way they treat animals. So far that advice has held true. I believe that after that initial meeting anything goes. Whether it be dinner and movies, some outdoor activity. Wherever there was a common interest would be a good start. I am looking for a man who shares my values and absolutely loves animals.

The ideal date for Nieya would be someone who loves to run and run and run, chase squirrels and mice. Her friend would absolutely have to love playing in the snow for hours at a time. Her friend would have to know how to share their daddy's attention.

Tara

My dear sweet Tara crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 14 1/2. She was a husky/sheperd mix and the love of my life. She suddenly fell ill and within a week she was gone. I had never felt such pain in my life. I miss her every single day but I know she's an angel watching over me from heaven.

Samantha

Samantha was my first baby. She was a beautiful calico kitty. We were together for nearly 18 years; I brought her home when she was one. A few months before she passed on, she was diagnosed with renal failure. For 7 weeks I administered fluids. She gave me all she had until she could not go on. She is now is heaven with her sister, Tara. I have 2 angels watching over me now.
