People say I am a "ham" due to my gregarious personality. Not afraid to be corny or lame, if there is potential for a laugh I will say it (unless it is tasteless, of course). There are so many things that I enjoy doing but simply don't for lack of time or lack of someone to do them with.

4 1/2 years ago after seeing "My dog Skip" I wanted a puppy but my landlord wouldn't allow it. So I thought, The next best thing would be a kitten! It was January and there were no kittens to be found anywhere...but then one day I found a 12 week old kitten looking for a home on Craigslist; he was being nursed back to health after he was found in a dumpster.... the vet tech who had found him brought him to my home and we hit it off immediately. Salem is a black cat with green eyes and blessed with human intellect. There are so many unique stories I have about this cat that I am thinking about writing a children's book about him. He has been trained to fetch, sit & roll over as well as other 'doggie' talents that he has acquired with ease. Salem is my best boy! Last week, my friend's daughter bought me a fish and we named her Chloe but Salem has yet to discover her! At my house we also have three bunnies, three other cats, a rainbow boa and two rats. *At the time of this writing, Salem is in-love with the white Siamese kitten we just brought home a month ago so he is unavailabe.
