I was always a one dog (usually mongrel) kind of woman, and have loved and cared for all of them, but when I met Alphie I fell head over heels! He was my first greyhound. I was never one to dress my dogs, talk baby talk to them of treat them as if they were my children but suddenly this all changed. My kids attributed it to advancing senility, but they were wrong. If Alphie were human, I would marry him in a heartbeat. He is sweet, affectionate, non-judgemental and drop dead gorgeous. He is not afraid to show how he feels and loves my cooking so much he will pick it out of the trash. He is a great cuddler, listens intently when I talk and gives wonderful wet kisses. He loves to walk and hike and is exhuberant when I return home. In turn I delight in scratching and rubbing his ears and neck, grooming him, finding him healthy new treats and comfortable respectable duds. I dote on him, sing to him, write him poetry and scout new places to walk, meet friends and find doggie/doggie friendly activities. I have since added to the family first with Baby and then Flash, I love them all but Alphie will remain my one great true love. We seek new friends as well as potential romance. If nothing else we are amusing.

Alphie as mentioned above is pure white except for a brindle patch over one ear and half his eye and black ticking on the opposite ear, he is a real love. Baby is a smaller red brindle female who lives up to her name she is very sweet and cuddly loves squeaky toys and hanging with the boys. Flash is a dark brindle male with a white blaze on his nose. He is only two and very much the bouncy puppy, he is playful, affectionate and likes to sleep very close to his humans. Latka is an older mixed breed girl we adopted from the pound. She was a stray with no known past. She is a sweet dog but generally does not go for long outings with the others.

Alphie-Mom is always meeting nice new people and they have dogs and we play and run and play. Right now my bestest friend is Dudley and he is soooo little, but we ride in the car together with our heads out the window....... Baby-I love mommie she a very nice human she lets me sleep with her and she got me a pretty pink winter coat and she always gives me treats. When I cut my shoulder she took the stiches out herself. Flash-Ma is very fair, she never blames any of us untill she gets the whole story, although it's usually me because I'm still a kid and Kindofa trouble maker. Latka-I love my life now, I used to be afraid of people and run away and get lost, since Mom adopted me I've learned to trust people again.

I am a woman seeking a man or woman age 30 to 61

I am looking for someone who is real, unafraid to be himself and accepting of who I am. A sense of humor is a must as warped and twisted as it might be. I'm not terribly materialistic for me great conversation, mutual pet appreciation and play, tenderness, warmth, adventures or preparing a meal together are all worthy activites. I am well educated, somewhat brainy and am alternatively interested/disgusted/impassioned by what goes on in the world. I enjoy talking about these things and sharing different viewpoints. I am also a yoga teacher and have studied massage, things I love to share. Mostly I want someone who can be a good friend first and foremost, good relationships blossom from beautiful friendships.

We love all kinds of dogs as long as they are friendly. It would be good if they like to run and play. We play hard but we are also known as 45 mile per hour couch potatoes, except for latka she's just a couch potato. "Hey, wait a minute speak for yourselves!" Sorry, Latka. Now that we have retired we are easy. We want friends to help us learn about life as free dogs. Our owner loves all dogs, but we would like your owner to like us too.

Matzo

We named him Matzo because we adopted him on Passover. He was a St. Bernard, Golden mix, a walking fur ball. He was gentle easy going and produced gallons of drool over his lifetime. The(human)kids grew up with him, he taught them about patience and unconditional love. We has 8 glorious years with him. We miss you Matz and remember you with great love and affection.

Moon

Moonie was very sweet and so special. The kind of dog to take your heart away. She was afraid of the picture in her food bowl, after many tempting treats she adjusted. We named her moon for the white half moon blaze on her nose. She and the kids were best of buddies. We miss you Moonie, you are still in our hearts.
