Buddy is my "man" - tall, blonde and handsome. Buddy is a 2 year old Yellow Lab. He sleeps with me every night, cleans my dishes when I'm done (then they go in the dishwasher!), loves to give me kisses when I least expect it and tolerates my newest member of the household, Stella. I acquired Stella from a Rescue organization. She's been with us about 4 months. Buddy and Stella are always wrestling or resting after wrestling. Stella has quickly learned how wonderful for us all to sleep together. They both vie for my attention, and if Stella gets a stroke first, Buddy is verbally telling me, "it's not fair, I was here first." But if Buddy reaches first, Stella will nip at his ears, or jowls or anything to get him to turn away from me so she can slide herself under my hand. They are my son and daughter (and they certainly act like siblings) and my lifestyle revolves around them.

Our mom LOVES to cuddle. BUDDY: Being the boy, and a little "doggie A.D.D." not to mention I weigh a little over 80 lbs, my mom gets bruised and scratched a bit, but she doesn't mind at all. She knows I can't help that my body and heart is bigger than my common sense. When I'm tired, I crawl up in her lap to sleep. As long as I don't sit up in her lap, she can watch TV over me. STELLA: As the delicate female of mom's litter, I mean family, it's taken me a little time to allow my new mom to get close to me. I've shown my "tomboy" side by letting Buddy know that "bigger doesn't mean The Boss" as I give him a run for his money. I now walk like a lady on the leash and I can't wait for mom to give me the full body massage she enjoys giving after we eat our breakfast. Mom gives us old shoes to chew, empty boxes to rip apart, old rags to play tug-of-war. She's knows just what a real dog likes to do! She even lets us sniff all we want on our walks cause she knows that's the canine way leaving messages for others.

I am a woman seeking a man age 36 to 51

My ideal man doesn't want to just sit around the house all the time. He wants to visit with friends and family, is open to new experiences, is sociable with people, including strangers. My guy doesn't have to the most attractive, I want him to be fun and funny. My man will not bore people with incessive talk (dribble), nor posses the "me" complex. He will be interested in other people's opinions, perspectives and experiences. My ideal man will be strong with himself, will not tolerate being treated badly or without respect from others. Most important, my ideal date will listen to me with his full attention when I'm being serious. Lastly, but not least, he does not believe in hurting his pet to obey his commands. He's fine with dog hair in the house and on his clothes, sharing the bed with the dogs, understanding my worry of leaving them alone too long. He'll realize that my dogs and me are one big, happy package and that is more than acceptable to him.

We would like to play with medium to larger dogs because we are pretty rough with each other. No "wimps" will survive our play romps. We've never been taken to a body of water to try our swimming techniques, but our Mom would love to see how we would do. But, she's unwilling to risk muddying up her car, so if you have a way to transport us without the possibility of being scolded for tracking mud in your vehicle, by all means, lets meet! One more thing. Because our mom worries about our health, anyone we hang out with must be up-to-date on their shots and in good health. She loves us so.
