A friend of mine just told me about this site and I
thought it was a great idea....I travel a lot for work
and when I'm in DC I tend to get bored out if my mind.
Occupational hazard is that I have to be very social
for my job and tend to "shut down" when I get back
home to the District. So in reality, it may be a
self-imposed boredom...That said, I try to hang with
my DC-based friends when I'm in town--b/w the travel
schedule and catching up with my local crew I find
little time to meet "dates." I grew up with five older
brothers who tortured me (and occasionally still do--I
haven't been tossed down the stairs in a "bean-bag
sandwich" recently, but they find ways) which taught
me early-on how to hold my own. And now to close with
the clichs: I'm laid back but know what I like...I
value humor (I tend to be a smart ass), intelligence,
spontaneity and overall kindness.

| low down on my
pet(s): |
Camden (a black Lab mix) is totally chill, like most
labs. He's about 4 (adopted from NoVa Lab rescue) and
occasionally still acts like a puppy. He--as lame as
it sounds--is the love of my life, which makes life
for Caicos (a full-bred Carribean potcake) a little
tough. Caicos, on the other hand, is (chronologically)
still a puppy so once he stops gnawing on everything
(from shoes--to furniture--to my Persian rugs) he will
quickly ascend to share love of my life status with
"the big dog." |
