I am genuine, laid back, compassionate and sweet. Each new day is a fresh start and I try to enjoy what life has to offer. I try to stay healthy and take care of myself in every way. Nice weather weekends are great for walks in the park or lying around on the beach. You wouldn’t take me for an outdoorsy girl but I can get down a dirty with the best of them…camping, crabbing or fishing…you just may need to put the worm on the hook for me! You can also find me in the city enjoying a Broadway show, a museum or just shopping. On these colder weekends, I like going to the movies or renting one and cuddling on the couch. I like to dress nice and go out to dinner or cook a good meal and enjoy a bottle of wine at home. I have been brought up to be very independent and I know there is nothing I can’t handle on my own. I have also learned that it is nice to have someone there by your side to help you handle the hard times and be there to enjoy the good times as well.

I rescued my new puppy from a high kill shelter in North Carolina. They do not have a lot of pet friendly laws in NC. Many people do not spay/neuter their dogs and many of them have puppies that are not wanted. An organization called Timeless Treasures rescues them and brings them to NJ. Poor little Maggie was so thin when I got her and she was pretty sick for a while. Now, four months later, she is doing just great and has gained 30lbs. She is 8 months old now and she is the sweetest Boxer Mix puppy in the world. She has a great personality. She has a lot of puppy energy and she loves to give kisses but she also likes sharing the couch with me and watching a movie once and a while.

Maggie would probably want to thank me for rescuing her and taking good care of her. I am sure she would like me to quit my job so I can spend every day with her but unfortunately someone has to put the puppy chow in the bowl.

I am a big dog lover and I will always have a dog in my life. My dog helps me remember to not take life to seriously and always have fun. It is important to me to find someone who also shares my love for animals. I am looking for someone that can one day become my best friend. Those walks in the park and trips into the city are always nicer when you are sharing them with someone you care about. What else am I looking for...humm...first and most important; we have to have a good chemistry, both physically and mentally. I would like someone who has a good head on his shoulders, easy to talk to, funny, sweet, romantic, affectionate and just fun to hang out with. My pet is looking for a new friend. She loves any dog or cat she meets. She is miss social butterfly at the dog park. She doesn't seem to be too picky with who she likes. But she does prefer to hang out with dogs that are nice and don't bite. Aggressive dogs just don't make her feel very secure.
