I’d say that I’m a simple person, but you don’t find too many green Libertarians, so you can decide for yourself. I’m a huge animal lover and I love to eat chocolate. I think that Calvin and Hobbes is the greatest comic strip ever. I’ve studied some form of martial arts for ten years but have never had to use it. I’m not mechanically inclined but I still managed to fix my car with my own two hands. I harbor a rock star fantasy and know how to play guitar, drums, piano and bass (one man bands are gonna be huge someday!). Spent six years in the Marines because I thought it would be fun and honorable, and, surprise, surprise - it was. My travel experience makes me much more tolerant and culturally aware. Mostly that means that I like every ethnic food from pad thai to beef stroganoff. But it also means that, having seen third world poverty up close, I appreciate material things but know that they are not the ticket to happiness. Well I have 4 Australian Bearded Dragons. The first dragon I got is named Sally. He orginally belonged to my little sister. Notice I said "he"...when they're young you can't tell if they're male or female. They thought he was a she so they named him Sally. Turns out he's not, but everyone is so used to calling him Sally that the name just stuck. Sally is a friendly lizard and likes human attention. He often tries to establish dominance and will bob his head at me. This usually results in me just picking him up, at which point he'll fall asleep on my arm or something. The second dragon is named Brat. I picked him up from the pet store because I wanted to give Sally a girlfriend. Now with Brat, I thought he was a she as well. Turns out he wasn't! A few days after I got him, I let him outside in the back yard to get some sun. I turned my back for a minute and he managed to sneak away. I found him 2 weeks later underneath my house, all skinny and dehydrated. I promptly fattened him up and he's been doing well ever since. I named him Brat due to the frequent escapes and trouble that he always causes me. My third dragon is named Little Girl, whom I picked up from a family friend. She takes kindly to Sally and is always snuggling up to him. My most recent dragon is a "sandfire" variety that I saw at the lizarsd shop. She was definitely an impulse buy...I was really impressed with her colors (she's orange and yellow). i still haven't figured out a name for her, so I just call her Girl until I find something more suitable. Lumberg is a Sulcata Tortoise, the third largest tortoise species in the world. These guys end up growing to weigh about 150 pounds! I got him when he was just a few months old, and he looked like a little lemon. He really enjoys being outside in the sun and likes to go exploring in the back yard. Lumberg was named after my favorite character in the movie Office Space. I also have two box turtles named Patrick and Sharkface. These little guys are kind of in their own little world and don't really socialize with the other animals. They're quite lazy actually...all they do is eat and sleep.

You don’t need the fanciest accoutrements that L.A. has to offer because you know it’s all about me and you.

I'd like for my critters to interact with other reptiles so they get a feel for being "in the wild". No snakes though, nothing that can eat them!
