I like to relax, whether it be movies or travelling or
walking Gus, but I seem to find things a bit busier
these days. A little too much work, a little too much
travel for work, and having a laptop and cell phone
sometimes means I'm "always in the office". Some
times it's good just to have someone to "take a break"

Gus is my best friend, "someone" to walk with and talk
with and hang out with. When possible, he even joins
me on road trips to Southern Cal and Vegas, sometimes
for work and sometimes for play. Gus is always up for
a walk, a ride, or our early morning run. There is
nothing better than coming home and being happily
greeted by Gus. And sometimes he even lets me have
half the bed. |

He likes sports, movies, and spoiling me. He likes
running, which is good since we get to run together.
He used to run more, like marathons and more training,
and would not take me on those long runs. Now he only
runs shorter distances and with me. We watch movies at
home together a lot. I love the ones with police cars
since I howl at the sirens. Sometimes he works too
much at home, so I bother him to play with me or take
me for a walk. |

With male dogs his size size and bigger, he sometimes
get too aggresive since he tries to be the dominant
one. However, many years ago his best friend was an
older large male German Shephard. They would play and
