I am 32, father to three darling girls, an Alaskan Malamute, Anatolian Shepard and a Husky mix. I just bought a house so I enjoy being home with them, we have a very large back yard which comes in handy. I like the theater and ballet, not into the club scene. I found this site and thought I would give it a try, looking to meet some new people, hopefully find someone special.

Kayla was orginally a Katrina rescue dog. I went to the pound on a Thursday, she was brought in the previous day. Due to the number of dogs they had she was scheduled to be put down that afternoon. I found her just in time. I figure she is about two to three. She loves to be petted. Every morning around 5:30 or so she comes over to lick my face and paw me. Most nights we share the same pillow. She is quite a joy to me, I would be lost without her. I got Wedensday at the pond too. She's a bit older, 6 or so. They said she was a stray, hard to believe that a dog that large could be a stray. She is very calm, and you couldn't ask for a sweeter dog. When I first saw her I thought she looked like Learch from the Adams Family. Her legs are so long and lankey. I decided that Learch was not a good name for a girl, so I went with Wednesday. She loves to tunnel in the back yard. There are these massive craters that she has excaveted out. I don't mind, digging makes her happy, and I can always fill them back in later. I got Starbuck through chance. A man stoped by my store and said that he heard I did Malamute rescue, which I don't do, and he had one in the truck he was going to get rid of one way or the other. I said bring her in. Well, she's not a Malamute, but thats ok. She was 40 pounds, scared as anything, stunk, stunk, stunk. Had fleas and whipworms. I brought her home and brushed her, then gave her a bath, and she instantly changed. She became hyper, and started howling in a playful way. She is a handfull, I figure it's mostly her age. I don't think shes one yet. I was going to find her a different home, but I worry about her getting abused again, so I'm keeping her. Having Starbuck is like having an 8 year old brat who constantly annoys other family memebers, but I figure she will grow out of it. I know she has potental to be very loving, she just needs to grow up a bit.

I hope my girls would say that I'm kind and affectionate. Possibly a push over too.
