I am a tall, slim, in-shape, corporate attorney (often irreverent) from Ireland, but now living in beautiful San Francisco, California, USA. I have been told [not all by the same person! ;-) ] I am funny, witty, loyal, kind, open-minded, considerate (at least I try to be), flirtatious with the right one, honest, and resourceful. There's really only one show that I really have to see every week -- it's the very funny british show on public TV called "coupling." It's like an exxtremely funny version of "Sex in the City. I come from a close farming family of ten kids -- makes for some wonderful family gatherings! I enjoy hiking, camping, snowboarding, dogs (see pic of my buddy, Shanu), tech gadgets, world politics, dancing, theatre, checking out new restaurants, ethnic music, ethnic cuisine, NY Times, NPR, BBC World News, Radio Deutsche Welle, and world travel -- – mostly in less-developed countries. Prior to coming to the US, I lived in China and Japan for four years. I still like to travel abroad every summer --mostly to less developed countries.

He's almost 3 years old. He loves to have other dogs chase him and take sharp zig zag turns if they are catching up to him, so sharp in fact that it's funny to seem him not able to take a turn and roll over. He knows how to push a stranger's buttons at a side walk cafe -- sits and offers the paw in the hope of getting some human food.

This is Shanu at the keyboard. The dude in the red shirt to the right is a pretty easy guy to get along with. On weekends he let's me ride in his Jeep where ever he's going. He will often stop off at a friend's house and let me go in to visit their dogs or we meet them on the beach or for a hike. He tried to teach me fetch, but just because I don't walk upright doesn't mean I am dumb enough to chase after some round object. Now if I know he has some treats in his pocket, and there are no female dogs around to distract me, I might chase a frisbee. Hey humans do that too! He's always a real push over for a hug.

I am seeking a partner who has some or all of my interests, has her own equally varied interests, but open to expanding each other's horizon. Although education is important, intelligence is more important. Hopefully, she is TALL (at least 5'7"plus -- so she doesn't have to look up to me all the time) (grin) height-weight proportionate, witty, understanding, without children (yet), kind, sophisticated, and enjoys learning about world cultures and new cuisines, likes some outdoor fun such as hiking, camping, or jogging; eats healthily, and likes to and actually does keep fit.
