Hi there! My name is Steve. I have been very active in
the dog/pet/animal field for most of my life. I was a
dog trainer for over 17 years, as well as working in
the veterinary field for 14 years. Dogs play a very
big role in my life. I am a very down to earth, laid
back, no drama, jeans and t-shirt kind of guy. I'm not
into the bar/club scene. I prefer cafe's and
bookstores. I'm hoping to meet someone to do life's
everyday things with, as well as discovering new

My little Jack Russell, Pogo, passed away in April. I
got her when she was 6 months old and was 1 month shy
of turning 14 when she left for the Rainbow Bridge.
One month ago I rescued Buffalo from a shelter. He's
incredible even though he's a "big mean pitbull"!
Absolutely wonderful with people. Unfortunately, he's
not so great with other dogs, so not a good candidate
for playdates. |

If you're a "dog person" we're halfway there! I really
want to meet someone that's open, honest, down to
earth and able to go with the flow of things. Someone
who thinks that who you're with is more important than
what you're doing. Common interests are great, but so
is exploring new ones. Aside from being in reasonably
good shape, I really don't prefer any particular
"type". To steal a line from a song, "It doesn't
matter how you wear your hair, it's what's inside that
counts." I do have tattoos and find them attractive on
women, but no tatts is OK too. I really hope to meet
that person that I can't wait to see or talk to, and
