Currently, I'm a pre-veterinary student, completing my last full time semester of post-bac studies at City College. In June, I'll start applying to school, and hope to begin in September 2009. My eventual goal is board certification in Emergency/Critical Care, but for the moment, I'll settle for getting into vet school. I also work as a tech at a clinic in Brooklyn.

Mistoffeles is is the only co-dependent cat i've ever met. He waits at the door for me, follows me from room to room, and won't go to sleep until he's spent a good half hour walking around on my stomach. He's also the smartest cat i've ever met - he makes catnip tea by dropping his mice in the water dish, and then walks around with them in his mouth meowing. Seraphim is my fuzzy earing . . . she has a nursing habit which she's never outgrown. She's Mistoffeles's older sister by about an hour, and has the most beautiful eyes. Justice is blind, and hasn't ever grown up. He's seven, and since he can't see what an adult cat is supposed to behave like, he doesn't bother trying. Instead, he bounces around, and has a foot fetish. I've had Little Bear since she was 4 weeks old, she was bottle fed, and now is a pantheresque, sleek, crazy fuzzball. She's six now, and just as kitteny as ever. Peanut is the most recent addition, joining the household two years ago. She's a skittish kitty, and can't actually be picked up (except for the occasional cornering to clean her ears and cut her nails). But, she's happy to sit on the couch next to you (as long as you don't look at her), and she's totally in love with Mistoffeles - she climbs onto him and purrs like there's no tomorrow.

Seraphim and Mistoffeles will handle friends well. Justice needs a little more time to warm up to a new buddy - but he's quite happy frolicking once he does. The younger kids are more skittish, but they've adapted to new faces in the past, and would likely do so again. Seraphim is OK with dogs (in fact, she flirts with them happily), and Mistoffeles will tolerate them. Justice gets jumpy, and will try to hit them on the nose.
